i just got this email from mt snow

The 4th Annual Snowstyle Registration is now open. Click the link on the event

calendar listing. This event will take place on February 3, 2007 in Un Blanco

Gulch. Pro Cash purse: $3,000. Amateurs prizes include Rossi Boards, Armada

Skis, Giro Helmets, LL Bean fleece, Smith Goggles, and other shwag.

Pre-registration is open until February 1, 2007 until 3pm EST.

the fact that it's in un blanco gulch (which is the beginner park) and not on nitro, in the past they have had a booter as big as 90 for this slopestyle
 
Mount Snow is being gay this year. They haven't even attempted to get their new park up and yet it is all they have been advertising
 
yea and they had weeks to snow make on it and still do so they better be getting their act together.
 
well the slopestyle will just be on some smaller jumps. i dont mind, itll add to the technical aspect, keep spins under 9 and shit. maybe theyll swamp the course with rails, thatd be dope
 
well as of now, the gulch's course as i see it would be as follows.

possibly the first feature as a 16 ft or so box.

either a very small jump or a "podium box" which is not long.

then a very short down rail, or a very short flat down. (when i say very short, i mean it)

then the biggest jump. you can get around 5s and 7s if you spin reallly fast

then the trap box with a gap onto.

then either a 16 ft flat rail or a higher box,
 
point taken, well im pretty sure that if they do have it on the gulch, theyll build shit way up. the comp is a week and a half away. thats alot of time
 
Don't forget that the East is having the worst snow season on the records-props to the park crew for pulling things together as well as they have, given the conditions-funding is also an issue, the mtn definitely isn't pulling in it's usual when conditions were so bad early on-expect the Gulch to be beefed up for the comp-it's no Inferno but it's what could be done...now if mother nature would stop being so sullen...

 
haaaa for real 2-3 yrs ago they had huge ass shit- n ppl were throwin DOWN, switch cork 9's, cab 10's n all sorts of dope shit on that 80fter
 
shits on saturday. idk when this thread was made, but its deffinatly not a week and a half away. and they could make the course the entire park, which would be kinda cool. everything that boreland said accept a 15ft long skinny box, step down thats small, 15 ft flat rail, down box, long a crazy ollie on down rail, and then option between small ride or small hip....then what boreland said
