Snowskate Type Of Thing

Last saturday I was skiing and I see this guy coming down the mountain on a snowskate but the one where theres two boards, so theres one underneath the deck. And this was a mogul run, pretty steep. I was just wondering if this is popular and happens alot because although it seemed pretty hardcore, its awfully gay.
 
ya its just a bi lev snow skate i think. ppl mostly use them in their backyards but if they feel deadly they'll take it out on the slopes. bottom line for me i would stick to the backyard. mountain snoskating is pinner
 
no there only cool if your in the backyard if you take it out of the backyard your gunno look like a complete loser but if your having fun i guess thats what is about eh?

haha justttttt kidding. even if its fun, you cant have that much fun with everyone pointing and laughing at how gay it is. i snow skate in my back yard with jibs me and by buddy set up, thats it.
 
ive never been on one that didnt have a ski under the deck not that im a big snowskater or anyhting but wne i c the ones wihtout a ski undert the deck i think its wierd
 
single level wooden decks are the way to go, some local snowskaters at my mountain rip it harder than some snowboarders
 
at my hill there was a snowskate comp bi-lev only, it was sooo gay there was a quarterpipe and all they did was ollie like a foot, no tricks at all
 
i saw aguy in the habitat park onwhistler with a snowskate. he was hitting the small rail and doing wicked noseblunts. but he caught his leash on the front of the rail and took a headdive off.
 
i would imagine the bi level ones would turn better and stuff cause they have an actual edge on the ski beneath(more like a skiboard) but i cant imagine that they would do well at all on rails/boxes like the regular skateboard deck looking ones. one of the guys on the park crew at liberty mtn PA went to the xgames this year for snowskating. i didnt know they had an event for it but hes really sick, hes always riding when hes just hangin out in the park.
 
snowskates are a lot better, but i was at a mountain and i saw two guys on these bike things, with boards and they could turn, it looked really dumb
 
hahahaha i saw some kid do that one to god i hate it when fuckin awful snowskaters go down the park and they cant do shit they jus fall off every 3 feet
