Snowshoeing to ride free?

Well I was just thinking about this tonight, snowshoeing seems like it could be fun, and whenever I'm in vail, I always see people going all the way to the top under the gondola. Would you be able to snowshoe up about half the mountain and take the second lift to the top for free? I don't think they scan tickets up there.

Just buy a pack that you can strap you skis onto and then dop your snowshoes into when you get to the lift. How hard would this be to do, and how long would it take?

Just something that has been on my mind for a while, nice way to save like 90 bucks a day.

yeah you would definetely get busted but you could maybe do it at timberline during the summer, and hike up to the public park and just hike that all day

doubt i'd do it anyways, i'm pretty lazy lol, was just wondering if it was doiable. but yea, if they saw someone going up with skis they'd probably stop them
