Snowshoe

I was there about 3 weeks ago and the conditions were great in terms of snow but the park was garbage in my opinion they had a couple fun rails and features but the jumps were garbage the had a 50fter that you had to be going mach 10 to clear it i hit it once and barely cleared it a guy said they werent finished building the lip but idk why they had it open then it was weird...

A couple of their other jumps weren't bad i was spinning 5s and 7s pretty easily on the first hit in their main park but overall i was pretty disappointed.
 
i don't think i've ever been to snowshoe and not been completely dissapointed by their park. their jibs are usually good, but their jumps are always terrible and have super flat landings, and the snowboard crew they have maintaining it is prejudice towards skiers.
 
Yea thats what i was gettin at i had a great itme riding around they had some fun trails to rip the few runs on the backside i think its called WESTERN territory were a pretty good ride for sure and they had some decent runs scattered through out but i think i spent all of 1 hour at the park the whole time i was their it was so weak

If you do go and u know of a costco near by you they sell discounted lift tickets thats good all day any day at snowshoe its cheaper if you buy them there and they give you the actual lift ticket so u dont have to mess with the ticket windows.
 
that's not entirely true, the park usually isn't that great but i know the park crew and they're pretty chill. They'll mess with you if you're a skier, but if you just start talkin to them they're pretty cool about skiers in the park.
 
and too the original poster, are you gonna be there this weekend? if so pm me if you want to chill some. i'll be up there all day saturday and sunday morning.
 
hey im the posters friend and we are going up there for a ski trip with our school

we'll ski like all day saturday and sunday and a little monday so yah dude just PM either me or him your cell if u wanna ski and chill and show us the good shit
 
um.. as a warning to everyone who ever wants to go there, cell service is practically non existant for at leat and hour and a half in any given direction there thanks to the greenbank observatory.
 
well be there all day saturday, all day sunday, and a lil monday. if the park is bad, how bitchy are the ski patrollers about building your own jumps
 
They'll be pretty bitchy depending on where you build the jump. but you won't have to worry about that too much, they jumps won't be so bad you'll feel compelled to build your own.
 
they have a bunch of rails and some decent size jumps...i was there over the weekend and it was alright...kinda depressing with no snow around haha...but the jumps are the only fun thing to do ...you will prolly be the best out there considering everyone snowboards and they all blow...i would go somewhere else if i were u
