Hey, I just got my newsletter from Freeskier, and they have set this awsome sit up call Snowpedia. Its a site where you comment on any hill/resort in North America and Europe. Its a chance to check out other Hills/resorts and get the scope on whats good at those hills and what to avoid. I suggest everyone checks it out and helps out my adding to the website.

Also, Mr. Matt Harvey owns the website it says

After my post I clicked on the link. Damn they already changed it, tellin u its gettin better and better with that site

well thats why i placed it here so people could see it and add to it. hopefully by christmas it will be actually built up enought and more people will use it.

btw what is so funny bout that site is that there are only three places in the alpes in there. But 5 indoor places in the Netherlands are on hahaha. Where they have probably 2 rails and a small jump

So this summer I came up with an idea to have a winter wiki thing, and i got it going, etc. that week i got the buyer's guide and saw the ad for the snowpedia, and it kinda sucked for me. but I'm still trying to get mine going, so for anyone who's working on snowpedia and wants to do more than just resorts, check mine out:

no, it's kind of a bummer.. but i'm still pushing it. my spin - i have skiers and snowboarders, and there's no corporation behind it. just a broke college grad.

ya your sites not too bad at all, i like the idea of the tricks but i think they could get out of hand kinda like the way that people did with ns here.

yah totally. i think the difference (hopefully) would be that one day I'd have enough faithful users who would keep things steady, much like wikipedia. we'll see though.
