Looks pretty dope. Its an hour and 16 away from my house in Staten. I wanna go this weekend. If you need a ride and aren't too far out of the way I can pick you up if I do go.
 
i was waiting to get all my clips to make a post about this place

i found it last week and been there 4 times already. its helping me learn a lot and i was shocked when i found out about a place like this around me and 10 mins from my house!!!!!!

they really want you to take lessons and not just mess around tho. But def a cool spot

ill be there sunday probably but im going real skiing tomorrow

they charge $10 an hour but you must only use 1 feature, such as the trampoline, the down box or the c-rail

the big jump wont be open for 2 weeks until they have their grand opening.

the place is def catered towards snowboarders (the owner is a boarder) but they plan on getting a freestyle ski coach

AND

when it snows they will be setting up little jibs and jumps out front and he has a banshee bungee

if you guys need any info or wanna know anything just ask me, ive been there a bunch an talked to the owner a bunch

i told him i would spread the word on here for him so ill post vids when i can
 
also let me know whos goin when cause id like to session with some skiers. everytime i go ive jus been with snowboarders who were cool but i wanna learn from other skiiers
 
as of today they are closed until further notice because the fire marshel said its unsafe. I think they have to replace a wall and I heard the owner saying that he doesn't have the money so either the landlord would have to pay for it (yea right) or they would have to relocate which would take forever.
 
that is actually the worst news that i have heard in like a year... i hope they can get it together cuz there is nothing more that i would rather do than go to that place
 
I still can't believe this is happening this guy would have hit the bank with this idea. Im almost certain that during the summer people would be traveling 4+ hours just to go here.
 
honestly guys im very disappointed too since i was going everyday for a week and it was by my house BUT i dont think you guys get what this place is/was.

the owner REALLY stresses the fact that its NOT a "skatepark" type place and DOES NOT WILL NOT let people just come there to sess.

I went 4 times and he basically was telling us we had to start taking group lessons and not just come down and practice by ourselves. And the few people i met down there all felt the same, they wanted to come mess around but this guy really hates on that

STILL, i didnt care cause i was waiting for a place like this to be within 4hrs driving of me and it showed up 10 mins from my house.

I just wanted to share that cause im not sure if the people from far away really knew how it was.

i do hope he opens again.
 
Hey guys just found this and figured I would respond and update.

Yes the Farmingdale location was closed due to the landlord not having his building legally subdivided. I know total bummer. But we have moved on and expanded our on snow lessons out west. We are currently looking for Ski coaches to head up territories nationwide. So if you know any experienced coaches send them my way.

As for indoor training we hope to return to Long Island once we can bankroll a new facility. In the mean time we do have a training clinic in Brooklyn, NY (info below). Yes there will be a coach there but it is not a lesson you can work on whatever you like. Sorry about being pushy on lessons at the old facility we just wanted to be able to keep the price low on open session time by selling more lessons.

Thank you guys for trying to help spread the word! We will build another facility ASAP (it was way to much fun not to).

We will have The Trampoline set up for practice on grabs, spins and flips! alsoa drop-in to a flat Box/Rail for any one with there own gear! There will be a coach on duty helping everyone progress. hey man, yea you werent being a d*ck about taking lessons or anything i just wanted to let others know.

really hope you get back out to LI one day but its cool you got a spot in BK. Too far for me to come there but maybe i will one day.
