Snowmobiling in X-Games?

I was watching a minute or two of it, and they were showing two brothers I think? They were leading the competition, and they had never ridden a snowmobile until a month before or something ridiculous like that. I think that makes it seem pretty lame if anyone could do it, but correct me if I'm wrong I might have missed some details.
 
Most 250cc dirtbikes are around 220lbs or so, give or take.

Most 600cc snowmobiles are around 550lbs.

There's a BIG difference in trying to throw 550lbs around vs. 220. Try having them land on you, it hurts. A lot.
 
ESPN show waaayyy to much of it, they need more skiing, hardly seen any and they do a shitload of snowboarding too...
 
its hard for it to be entertaining because its way hard to move them machines around like moto... but fuck it, its entertaining cause they could either stomp it or crash specularity.
 
honestly if you call this retarded there is something wrong.

this blows the piss out of skiing and snowboarding i'd like to see those skiers flip with those machines.
