Snowmobiles

I've got a ninety somethin AC Cougar. Theres probably tons of other threads on this but I'm excited about it, theres two feet of fresh pow here, in April. I'm gonna go shred it up.

Do alot of people use snowmobiles to get to pow? If so, what kind?

can you say waste of money? any "pow" that you wanted to get to you could cross country ski too, since the down slope is going to be like what 10 degreess?
