Snowmass

yeah pow skis (or at least some semi-fat skis) are are must, especially this year because we are supposed to get dumped on

Yeah, I was thinking about instructing down there, but I don't have any of my cert's. I've already made a name for myself here at Keystone with instructing, and I wouldn't be worth getting the shitty instructing job with a bunch of 3-year-old's.

I don't know if I want to leave Keystone quite yet. I LOVE it here. Hopefully my boyfriend will just get a job at Copper or A-Bay since he can't work for Vail Resorts.

^it's def different than keystone. no crowds, the snow is awsome, backcountry acces is awsome, people are cool. park is decent but is no keystone.

Snowmass kills it.. been living here 3 years... no crowds at all.. good snow... good parks.... its got everthing.. legit local bars... small skitown

Yeah man, there's certainly not throngs of really hot South American girls there or anything...

One of the most fun nights I've ever had was sneaking into a bar in downtown aspen (I'm 20, was 19 at the time) for an Argentinian Party. Girl I was with showed the bouncer her passport (she's from Argentina) and just let us in since I didn't say anything so he couldn't here my blatantly american english. Oh my god, never seen so many hot girls in one room my life. Only downside to the night was some drunk brazillian girl ran off to the bathroom with my hat as collateral so I wouldn't "leave her alone". Of course the bouncers kicked everyone out then and I never found her again. Somehow the hat ended up in my work's locker at the end of the season after all the south americans went home though. Still can't figure that one out.

Not really sure why I shared that story but it's a ski town, there's always going to be more guys than girls.

^maybe she was stalking you all season, haha.

Aspen sounds like a sick area, hoping to move there soon, cant wait.

Aspen the skiing is infinitely better at Snowmass than Keystone. There is actually challenging terrain, and still a sick park.

no, i forget the name of it since i'm not old enough yet to frequent the bars but it wasn't the regal. it was one of the ones about a block away from the wells fargo. the bar is basically a large basement if that helps. i'd konw the name if i heard it.
