SNOWMASS

i'm going to snow mass on monday and kinda wanna know what to expect. hows the park? is there anywhere i can get a low-down on the set up?

i am going to snowmass the exact same day as you, all i know is they have a TON of snow, their terrain park is supposed to be amazing. they changed it up at snowmass this year i heard and its supposed to be a lot better but it was always good. also depending on how long you are staying its supposed to be a big week, their having a big air competition (not big air friday) i forget what day and its at the base of aspen mountain. i don't know if its pros or what but if your there till friday big air fridays is still going on.

yeah its been real sick this year

the snowmass park has good rails, a dece pipe, a QP, and a triple line which they jut made a little bigger so its sick. I have to leave thursday to go to jackson hole so i wont be there but you'll find some chill people to ski with, and usually there is NObody in the park, but there may be since its gaper season.

we've gotten a shitload of snow this year (rumors of staying open till mid may instead of april) so the skiing is really good right now. so enjoi it

I'll probly journey up from my tropical land to see whats happenin in the highlands this weekend.

kick aspen big air is this saturday night!

the park is sick and you can take tons of laps cause cony glade goes top to bottom. it's been gaperville lately though because of spring breakers

I drive by it everyday and it looks sick. Shame on me for not skiing buttermilk once this year though. Snowmass has more non-park terrain, and I don't usually spend all day in the park. I will ski the half pipe at b-milk once the mountains close.

Yeah, they still have almost all that stuff from January. Buttermilk definately has the sickest features. The rest of the mountain is beginner though so watch out for newbies who get lost and end up in the park. My roomate coaches snowboarding and he takes his kids there quite a bit and he said it is sick but like I said, I have not personally been to buttermilk this year. I have mostly been skiing backcountry all year. I've only got like three days in the park, and of that I have mostly just skied in the pipe 'cause that's my favorite feature.

Last Saturday was such an epic powday at Snowmass..... Hot laps on the big burn early and high alpine later on.
