hey does anyone know exactly how to make a snowmachine, i have a air compressor, but how do i set it up with water to make snow?helP!

ok well i am not sure but you would need to use a hose and let it spray out little drops you know?? then got something to fan it away and it will hopefully freeze in the air. I am not really sure though

thats tight...cept if its warm where u live its not gonna turn into snow...just ure backyard will be soaked

 
haha guys oh man.. why didnt you just ask me..

ok. like are you talking just a tiny weenie air compressor? cause if so.. its gonna give you jack shit.. you have to have either an air or water cooled compressor... then you've got to figure out your water source and if your using a garden hose your pressure wont be enough. well it could be but you'll get very damn snow. mostly slush. the fast it goes through the gun the cold and faster it freezes... as well when making one. you've got to take a piping. but you've got to have a combinin of air and water and high levels of psi. as well if your going to make your own a bif factor in uns is height.. the higher the gun is the longer the 'snow' has to freeze while its falling to the ground.. but again.. the higher it is the more pressure your going to need throughout the gun. otherwise you'll have mainly water comming out your gun and it wil be too wet to freeze by the time it falls to the ground so you'll only have a big puddle. any other questions just ask me, ill try to answer

yeah the guy on that site had a Y valve with 2 nobs to control water flow and air flow. I think I'll try it.

well that snowmaker that has been in the magazines and stuff... all it takes is a garden hose and i guess it has a compresser built in, but that just proves that all it takes is cold temps.

yea but the backyard blizzard (if thats what its called) is super crappy cause it covers 1000ft in like 1 whole day and that could run a well dry.

Im pretty sure it doesnt matter the pressure of the water. You have to have some sort of mixing chamber where the air pressure and water mix (or where the water is turned into mist)

I've hear using a pressure washer would work, but I have also heard it wouldnt work. I think that has to to with the fact that the water molecules arent divided small enough and would just turn to ice.

The water pressure really doenst matter considering that usually you would run it from a garden hose, which is fine for pressure to make snow. You have to have an air compressor that puts out at least 40 psi. Then u connect it into one piece such as a >---, one of the two forks is water the other is air and u should something to control them, then on the straight part u put a female thingy so u can attach nozzles to it that spray mist. I got it all figured out, oh and it has to be like 28 degrees fahrenheit for good snow.

you could just point the pressure washer in the air, so it made more of a mist so it would turn to snow.

ok look guys. you guys dont know what your talking about. trust me on this when i say i know what im talking about and to get good or even mediocre quality snow. you need good pressure flowing through your guns. sorry to say but your wrong on not needing pressure
