Does anyone here have one and u think its reasonable to buy one and how much will a simple one cost? I also heard u can make one self but does anyone have experience with that??

PM snowcase about it, he makes and sells them, i htink he has a couple options. I believe you need either an air compressor, or a pressure washer to make them run, and you can prolly pick one of those up for 200ish.

yea erich sells them, they are pretty cool. i would buy one if i wasnt at school. they arent very expensive.

why u say if i wasnt at school?

And dont u got these ones where u dont need an compresoor where just can attach them on the waterthing (dono what it is in english:P)

It's a "hose" by the way. And you need an air-compressor and a "hose" for the small, then medium and large is different.

there is now such thing as a cheap snowgun. Not only the snow gun but the compressor and water to have it work porperly for a backyard in most cases a normal garden hose won't work. A good way to get a snowgun is to build one and use a pressure washer to get the water/air pressure you so desire.

ok sounds really cool, so if u take the simple ones u dont have to do anything else than to connect it to the water?

pressure washer + air compressor = snow

the pressure stuff makes it easier for the snow to form... it has to do with temperature and pressure

So if I have a portable compressor that goes up to like 160 psi and a garden hose, would that be enough for the small or medium one?

its like 2-3, so i think a small one would work. When you say 1-2 inches an hour, how big is the area?

Can someone please tell me if they're a handy and how often u use it and for what...(dont say snow:P)
