Snowflex

I'm most likely going to snowflex this summer, just wondering, does it hurt to fall? Like what's the material other than plastic cause I feel like it would hurt like a bitch every time you fall

From what I've read it doesn't hurt anymore than falling on standard park hardpack. Just make sure you wear long pants/shirt because otherwise you can get 'carpet' burn.

Friction burn is possible and pretty likely if you do have exposed skin and you fall.

You can also burn the basses on your skis if you don't prep them properly. I'd reccomended taking an old pair of skis rather than ruining your best sticks. If you want to go faster, try spraying your bases with furniture polish.

Whear long sleeve.

Really not that bad. Also I'm just posting in this so when Travis clicks on this he can get butthurt because I only rode there once years ago and shouldn't post in these threads since I don't have his level of snowflex expertise.

How do I prepare them properly?

First off snow hurts a hell of a lot more then snow to fall on. There is a shit ton of memory foam under the surface and it is hella kush. The only possibility for injury is scrapes and rug burn

This^^^, your icon, your name, and parts of your sig all suggest you are on some sort of drug.

No Snowflex does not hurt that much to fall on.

When I go I wear my snow pants and then a t shirt. I cover my elbows with cut up socks(take a pair of tall socks and cut off the ankle/shin part..use as a tube kinda thing).

The only thing that hurts about snowflex is the material. If you have exposed skin you might get a little cut up but it's not that bad.

Also the material has padding underneath it so falls are cushioned a bit! Knuckling is pretty painless to be honest.

Have a good time dude! Snowflex is a fun time!

Ok now I see how this might of been confusing what I meant to say was "snow hurts a hell of a lot more then Snowflex to fall on"

Use a cold wax, something like a Swix CH4, CH3 powder or a Toko Cold powder. You also want to iron in a wax with graphite in as well if you can find one, - I know Data Wax make one.

Keeping your edges sharp will also do a great deal for your skiing.

Im going to Liberty this summer probably a couple times, looks sick. Seems like common sense you'll get brushburns dude, just cover up if you don't want em
