that's because they don't sell it in small quantities. you give him your plans for a snowflex park, and he quotes you a price for a huge amount. i would think he could do alright selling it in smaller quantities, but i think it costs like $100/sq ft as it is

be all ghetoo like me and my friend and order 800 square feet of snow fence for only 90 bucks ( shipping included, 30$) thats about 10 cents a square foot... just try that, i think ive looked into every summer skiing surface their is

yea wow why would you ever pay that much for a summer set-up, either get carpet/astroturf, or even wet tarps, make a setup and hit it for a minimal amount of $$..i haven't spent a dime on my setup, got everything for free or already had it lying around, the other option is get some ice shavings from a local rink and use them
