yeah, I went skiing there yesterday...
this is my review:
Basically everything is super new, super clean and super business. I guess you have to expect that all they want to do is make money, but its more obvious than you'd think.
Anyway there is one real fat box, then there are 4 other flat rails of different sizes. Nothing really special, but the only thing that will keep me interested.
It doesnt feel like a mountain (you might say 'obviously' but you'l know what i mean when you go there). They have real bad (really really bad) easy listening music blaring out of their speakers making almost impossible to listen to your own music. So you are in this floaty mood from the music, it takes 5 minutes up the lift and less than 20 seconds back down....
One thing to take note of is that I was skiing when there was hardly anyone there, i cant imgine what it would be like with lots of people...
BUT.... Skiing is Skiing, and i had a great time sessioning the shit out of all the features available (especially cause i was skiing on the new T-Halls and Joystick Poles, thanks Jason for letting me ride on your gear). So its fun, I'l go there again and my rails are gona get better and better...
oh and the Armada T-halls are A-MAsing!!!!

i have the day off uni on wednesday so im heading up then!! so if anhy of you fokkers are gonna be around i wouldnt mind catching up and goin for a jib. yo marky do you have to wear like how much shit did you wear? i know its like -5 in there but is -5 the same inside as it is outside? that sounds really stupid but you know what i mean haha

basically i wore a t-shirt under my jacket and park gloves and it was too cold. then i wore normal gloves and a hood on top and it was good... no thermals..

Just hit a mean down flat down on mt. eden with Jason from down south (i think the dude that was making a movie and got all his shit stoleen). Rard the editor of charter ski mag, Jason W ARmada Rep and Scotty S... IT was a mean set up especialy cause we were bout to give up cause we go thrown off this one rail (uptight bastards). But then i thought i might explore mt. eden and right at the top is the meanest down flat down soo purrrrfect.. So we hit it, I was the first to grease it to the bottom, Rard gave me 20$ for it JAson W gave me an ARmada T some posters and he is gona give me red tape.... PRetty fuckin good day really, I like gettting stuff for free for hittin a rail...

yo scott, you might not want to spend the whole day there, i rode for two hours or so and its super duper uber mad expensive, 29 an hour, o and yeah markies point was very important dude, take some massive headphones, with some better music, or otherwise you'll be abused by their square clean o so fucking hideous house, but yeah being not so much of a jib dawg as markie i enjoyed the rails, big greasy box is fun to spin around on and a tiny (and i mean tiny) table is there to practice switch ones and stuff, unfortunately wednesday is my most packed day at uni so i can't come but enjoy yourself,

what days do you have relativley free toby? i have to work on eco assignment now fucker. so i cant come on wednesday. i can come up for tuesday morning next week or some shit. i will try!! tell us whats happening in your world and mayb we can sort some shit out. later.

its totaly not worth road trippin from down south dude, you will get bored afer at least after 3 hours if not less, and its fuckin expensive. but if you are coming up let me know when, we might be doing a big session of the Auckland uni rail, and the more people the better...
for any auckland people. a few skiers from NS (crazy eye, nzskier, me so far) will be hitting Snowdome for an hour or so on Friday before 5 (cheaper rates) anyone in the area should come and ride with us, it would be cool to have a big crew hitting all the flat rails there.

i went to s.p on sunday, its mean through, so funi walked in, totally out of place in my baggy az pants, baggy az hoodie dragging my twin-tips and all the otha gear, had all these people looking at me so funi. way betta than i expected alothough its boring after an hour and there are SOOO many punters.... i headin up there this weekend, i know that scotty is gonna cum up, anyone else keen? it would be mean az if we had a crew there to rip it up
