People up there, tell me whats up, im coming jan 6 7 8, jump? snow conditons? anything?
 
We're supposed to be getting in a big, wet cold front on wednesday night, so that could change things considerably. All we can do is hope, and keep in mind that the snow conditions can only get worse if there's less of it.
 
Yeah, sliding the landing the dudes were yellin at people to do it gently because they would go through all the snow. They better have more fucking snow than that.
 
I will be there. They need to do a chop on that hill in between runs during big air this year, last year it turned into a hockey rink and some people went down hard.
 
Good comp today. The jumps could have been bigger, but otherwise a bit of fun for us USSA nuts. Ill post results as soon as possible.
 
Comp was fun, but the judging was absolutly horrible, worse showing of USSA judges ever, winner did a d-spin 7, second and third both did 540, david (2nd) had a good 5, but the other kid was like 12 and it was pencil steez and he barly landing. But of course the 4 kids doing cork 7s didnt even get top 3....
 
Oh yeah, and like 4 kids doing 360s scored higher than me kld(kris) and the schwartz twins who all did cork 7s, yeah fuck USSA.
 
A lot of the judging in big air is based on amplitude and overall impression. A big jump with style will win over a smaller sketchier technical trick. The kid who won deserved it, as his 7 was smooth and under control. No offense guys, but hucking doesn't work unless you land. And the kid who got third is 9 yrs old and is landing 5s on a jump hill. I think that is damn impressive.
