Snowboards-----> skis

hey,

i heard you can cut down a snowboard to make a pair of skis.... my dad has a snowboard that he doens't use and said i could do whatever i wanted wit it. does ne one kno how to make a pair of skis outa it?

uh, technically you could but its pointless and would be an extremely short pair of skis and you know what.. jsut don't do it.

It's easy enough to do a shitty job of it, it's hard to do it right....

Make a friend of your nearest ski tech. If he/she's cool and really into what they do the idea will appeal to them in a big way. Then spend a little time hanging around the shop in the last few hours of the day. Bring Coffee, lots o' cream and white gold in it...

Any real techie will have a blast working with you to transform that deck into some siiick custom boards.

To tell you the truth...it would be way to much effort for something that doesn't even have a good chance of working good.

im a little over 6 and am on 169s. do i care what someone says about my steeze? no. i fucking live in indiana they think they are tight as fuck.

varies person to person, some like it long, some like it short. obviosly lineskier91 is used to dealing with shorter and smaller lengthed objects, but good luck making skis out of a snowboard cambell

I've got two different bicycles and an old lawnmower, can I make a car?

Yes. Would it be worth your time? No, unless you think you'll learn something from tinkering around. The result wouldn't justify the effort if you planned to actually use it.

you know what i think i am gonna do.......i have an old pair of salomon 900s.....i think i am gonna do the opposite of you.....put bindings on two snowboards.....haha SUPERFAT

basically u get cooler and im ginormis so like the bigger the better, and wide too, theses clealy a positive linear relations ship with coolness and ski lenght so watch what u do

yeah its a giant waste of time and an all around horrible idea.........you should probably kill yourself just for thinking about that. or try snowboarding on the board. either one. ;)
