i find the snowboards destroy the park they destroy the landing when you go to do a jump a my hill at 11 its already geting icy thier should be a snow park for skiers only
 
yeah, most of them have a propensity of carving as soon as they land. And by carving I mean scraping, scraping any semblance of powder off the landing, exposing the great Eastern Ice below.
 
everyone ruins the park.

skier fags who rent shit for the one day a year they go up use the jumps to get on rails like booters...

but just ride over them in their stupid pizza shaped lip fucking manuever.
 
well all of them go off the jump at the same spot and push down to pop up...there becomes a divit or rut in the take off and it sux nuts
 
they pack down our jumps nice but they also make our landing icy..but it will happen on the east.
 
argh the ice of the east, whenev i go out west i still brace myself expecting ice at every turn cause its so surreal not having it
 
wtf are u talking about Haggar??? there are way more begginer snowboarders in the park that just si there and when they finally hit the jump the do that gay arm wag thing and fall on their ass.
 
i hate it when they land a jump and side-slide down the landing making it really bumpy. It sucks th land switch and have to ride through that shit

ye thats weird, you never really see any noob skiers in the park besides the little munchkins and the tourists. You never really see poser skiers like there are snowboarders who just sit at the top of the jump all day letting you go first.
 
how many years after Candide stomped Chad's did it take for a snowboarder to make it? i'm sorry, but in terms of the progression that is taking place right now, the size of the jumps being hit, and the big lines being done, skiing is showing snowboarding how it's done. i don't have a problem with snowboarding at all, but i just can't understand why people say that snowboarding is "better"- the only place snowboarders are steezier is on rails.
 
yea snowboarders scrape the landings of jumps down to ice alot more than skiers and they not only scape the landings of jumps down to ice they basically scrape most of the moutian down to ice
 
I certainly do at my park. We have a lot of freeskiing infuence at our mountain and theres tons of kids who buy chronics or some expensive ski and watch their snowboard friends go through, and just watch.

fuckin knuckledraggers heelsiding down everything scraping off all the snow. I don't have a problem with good snowboarders who can make turns, or even begginers who stay on beginner runs. but what kills me is when I see some piece of shit frat boy scraping his way down a steep section of a difficult run. fuck snowboarders like that, you don't see begginer skiers getting themselves into places like that and fucking shit up. As far as snowboarders messing up jumps I don't really care.

snowboarding is the shit, you dont' know how hard it is for me to stay skiing, everyday i contemplate switching to snowboarding, i know it wouldn't take me long ot learn it because i skated for 6 years. snowboarding is so sick it is unbelievable. the only reason i stay skiing is because im comfortable with it and i know there is so much room for progresssion that is untouched.

i hate telling people im a skier because of people like you. you know what ill say it right here, when people automatically assume i snowboard, i don't say otherwise, i say yeah i ride the mountain, but i don't say i ski it, because im not a skier. you guys are skiers, skiers are assholes to everyone and are not open minded to other things.

skiers are A LOT more open minded than snowboarders. here in finland snowboarders think they own everything. they NEVER ski with skiers and only call them pussies and fuckers.
 
Answer:

Snowboarding was around long before "newschool" skiing. When my friends and I first starting throwing grabs and 540s on our modified K2 Mambas back in like 97/98, the snowboarders had already been in the park for years throwing rodeos and shit. EVERY day we heard, "you skiers are mucking up the park, stop digging out the landings and ruining the take offs". So you are all wrong, its not snowboarders that are ruining the park features, they were there first and it is us, the skiers, that are now fucking up their parks.

so true, sometimes there's sucky boarders in the park messing up the jump but theres probably the same amount of sucky skiers doing the same thing. Lets give eachother some damn respect

the reason you see more beginner boarders in the park is because boarding is still seen as the cool extreme thing to do by most of america so a lot of kids wanna do the cool thing and go strait to the park before they can even turn
