Well i would liek to see what other people's views are on snowboarding and snowboarders....personally i liek it, i don't do it because i like sking more, but i still like snowboarding. They got sick style and are generally really cool. They are also doing a good job of taking a lot of neewbs. (all of the poser popular culture kids that can't do shit)anywasy i liek functioning with them, it adds diversity to the mountains, and i see less crappy poser skiers around whihc makes me happy (since they are all crappy poser boarders)and then it is easy to spot the good boarders who do some dope things with mad steeze. anyways whats the word on boarders?

ARTINGE-------if someone knocks on your door and askes to see your slong because there is a crazed slong moneky paintintg, don't show it to him, it is just a Scan, he really only wnats to see your stuff.
 
I like this post even though it pops up every 15 minuets, butttti like it a lot, yeah snowboarders can be cool if there not to cocky or gay, if ther enice and prop you an dyou prop them and you can talk to them then that are cool to me

yea i figured that this topic was common, but i haven't seen it since my rebirth. ( ie i left for about a year and just came back) the cocky ones are stupid, but they are also fun to mess around with. We liek fake fight no seymour, its pretty funny. We build mad jumps and then tell all the snowboarders they are gonna case. It usually happens....

i respect boarders and think they r super progressive, i just think that its stupid for them do bash skiing, and vice versa.

I used to snowboard, I even still have my board ( cant sell due to emotional attachment) but now Im all about the skiing. cuz i relized sumthing, thst is that, SKIING ROCKS MY SOCKS!!!!

simply put...there are equally as many cocky, asshole skiers as there are the same kind of snowboarders. they're cool to 'ski' with as long as everybody's being cool. i think i speak for many people when i say that i have the ability to recognize talent when i see it, no matter what is strapped to the person's feet, and i enjoy seeing a snowboarder do some kind of crazy shit on the mountain, just as i do seeing a skier.

 
Yea its like any other group, some are really cool and hook u up, adn others are gay, and sit in groups below lips so u cant c em and laff at people, and then go off jumps and do indy taps

them being snow boarders has nothin to do with it asholes are assholes no matter what they do. skiing is def better cause weve got two boards they only have two skiing harder too. dont tell them that though if we keep freeskiing relativly small it will continue to be special and wont sell out like snow boarding did. weve got another 5-10 years before people start freestyle skiing..

i like doing park and backcountry stuff with boarders and i have a lot of boarder friends, but i hate the idiots who call skiers gay just because they can't ski. i can grind on a snowboard 2, it's really easy.

 
some snowboarders (MFM, Jussi, Danny Kass, that dude in Happy Happy..I forget his name, ect) have dope style, and I love watching them board. Personally, I could never swich over to snowboarding, I like skiing a lot more and just feel better on skis than on a SB. but I respect the good ones and think they're steezy

i think it will be harder for newskool sking to get all the hosers, and posers if it became really popular...because it is realyl easy to pick out shitty skiers....as it is to pick out crappy boarders...but i really enjoy how some many iggnorant city poepel are like sking sucks, only snowboarding is cool.....its funny...i just leave it at that

well, i used to snowboard so i don't mind boarders. in fact, if it weren't for snowboarding, freeskiing would be nothing. we probably wouldn't have fat skis, sidecut, twin tips, all that shit, and skiing would blow. boarders who think they're the shit and that skiing's crap can go suck dick, but the cool ones are awesome. i still have my boards and i'll dabble from time to time, but nothing beats skiing. i'd never go back. though i do still read snowboard mags since they're so much better than ski mags.

 
i think its really cool, but i have more fun skiing, and I have been watching the snowboard flick POP its really good. but snowboards them selves, it verys i have a lot of amigos who are snowboarders but then there are kids who are just asses.

i like snowboarding. i did it once for 2 years but i like skiing way better so i got back. anyways the people i ride with are mostly snowboarders. i see from them that snowboarding is a sport with a great style and its fun to ride with those people. though there are some posers who are fuckin cocky and think of them selfs to be the absolute stylemasters and shit like that. but where i live almost every snowboard-poser is a snowboard instructor and they cant do shit except for cruising the slopes and even that looks quite funny.

hmmm i ski with snowboarders. when you think aobut it its basicly the same thing your both sliding on snow, hurting yourselves, having a good time, and getting frostbitten fingers. so its all good

I love snowboarding but ski, all the ppl i ride with snowboard and they have sick style, but skiers take style to the next level.

In terms of professional snowboarders, I LOVE it! I almost like watching it as much as I like watching skiing. Snowboarders are sick and they have some incredible style. Most of the snowboarders i've come in contact with have been okay guys, some are really chill. Others... well, there are dick skiers too.
