I hope nobody gets pissed at me for this, but snowboarding sucks ass. It's so damn easy and skiing looks so much cooler. Please post any and all comments.

Can I pleeeeeaaaase skip school for the X-Games?
 
No snowboarders deserve to be labeled as assholes until you've met them, I agree, there are more assholes in snowboarding than skiing, but both sports take skill. Don't hate snowboarding, hate only the peope you know who are assholes that snowboard. Snowboarding brought our sport where it is today, what with the notion of catching air and all, and so don't hate, appreciate. (Heard that one on the Disney Channel).

What has a whale done for you lately?
 
Eastcoastpride, i didn't say I hated snowboarders, I said I hated snowboardING. Although, now that I think about it, I do hate every single person that I know who snowboards.

I said that you shouldn't hate the sport but if there are guys who snowboard who are dicks then you don't have to respect them, but you have to respect what they do on a snowboard, there is nothing wrong with the sport itself.

ok ill say it, if it werent for snowboarding newschool skiing wouldnt b around. and just cause some of them are asses that suck dosnt mean every one of them is. and if u meet a snowboarder that talks shit on skiing, he probly sucks ass at snowboarding.

skiier's are retarded. not all of them. just ones like you. snwoboarders don't hate skiing, most of them (myself included) think it's awesome. so why do all skiier tend to hate snowboarding.. and like eastcoastwhateever said, most snowboarders that hate on skiiers suck at snowboard and are trying to be cool and fit in. and its most likely the same for skiiers.

people like you, who bitch about snowboarding and snowboarders are reasons why snowboaders hate skiing. You are what is wrong. New School Skiing owes a lot to snowboarding, so shut the fuck up. We wouldn't be anywhere without them. Snowboarding is sick, they have tons of style and you have to give them every respect you give skiers.

Another thing, snowboarders don't waste their time by bitching about skiers like you do to them. You're just a stupid rook bitch who likes to play the stereotype to try and be cool.

you better give them respect dickhead, snowboarding did so much for us its not even funny. I hate 80% of skiers out there because they represent the industry so poorly. Most snowboarders i talk to love what is happening to skiing. Most of them hate 80% of skiers too, lol. Both skiers and snowboarders have sick style...I only hate on ppl who hate on skiing OR snowboarding just because they are ignorant. Both sports are sick and i give equal respect.

Tons of them still talk shit. All my boarder friends are cool, but it's not like skiers are the only ones who still harbor a grudge. Just as many of them disrespect skiing as skiers to talk shit about boarders, if not more. That being said, I think snowboarding's great, except for having to wait around for them to buckle in and out, and them side slipping down slopes too steep and scraping all the snow away. That pisses me off.

the only thing i can't stand about boarders, is how they talk shit about how NS skiiers took there style, and there type of riding. What a load of crap, first of all, they stole it from the sk8ers. And, without the skiiers, there would be no lifts, resorts, industry, and everything they use. So, they should watch there backs, because skiiers cary two very sharp easily swingable poles.

Snowboarding is badass. Think about the impact it has had on skiing. Park, Pipe, Shaped Skis, Fat Skis, Clothing, etc. I would never switch over, but I love to snowboard when I have the chance. Skiers and Snowboarders have the same problem as any other sport...Stupid People. The Stupid People of every sport give it a bad name. Think about..when someone doesn't like someone or something, they talk about it way more than they talk about the things and people they do like. The Stupid People stick in your mind more than the cool ones. So get over it. Snowboarding kicks ass. And yes, it is easier to learn the basics...but not any easier to excel at.

 
There would be newschool skiing without snowboarding. Thats like saying skateboarding would still be oldschool without rollerblades.
