Snowboarding is too extreme for me

Um yeah I think your best bet is to let your friend buy it first and then if you like it you can buy it for yourself. I didn't get to see the first 20 minutes as I snuck out to get laid in the bathroom.

The music was really loud so it was kinda distracting.

There was hippies involved too..

I remember there was one thing that one of the guys did that was impressive and different, otherwise I didn't think it was anything special from what I saw.

hahaha yeah the hippie bit for sure, it was not too shabby, probably the only part of the movie that i didn't get distracted from, possibly partly because of the bright colours on the van.

Yeah I did get there to watch Journal, I actually snagged a copy, but I'm pretty sure someone took it out of my coat because i definitely put it in there.

I do agree with you on the fact that snowboarders are getting more creative, but maybe that's because if they didn't there would be nothing to do. When you reach the point where it starts getting boring you have to start creating new things to do to stay interested right? The thing is that I've noticed is there are so many variations of what you can do on skis, therefore they don't have to be so creative all the time because there is no reason to get bored. Not saying that skiers aren't creative, because it's obvious they are, I think it's more or less making tricks look more and more steezier, but thats my opinion.

Also sking has been around for a lot longer, so it's no doubt that there are more things you can do on skis compared to what you can do with a snowboard.

only problem with that is, you'll seel your board, bindings, boots ect. and still need another $200 to a grand to get your ski gear...skis, poles, boots, ect.

great sport but costs sooooo darn much for the equipment, that's one of the good things about snowboarding, costs way less...other then that skiing is the best, got hooked on it back when i was 11 or 12, i'm 17 now and i ahve to say, i'm happy i didn't pick up a board, everything is so much better with skis, more terrain, everything looks stylish and the landings are usually so much cleaner then on a board
