Snowboarding is Steezier then Skiing!

Skiing gets really boring sometimes. Grindings is the same shit, the only variation are switchups and spins on. Jumping is like the only fun part about skiing. It's really hard too get bored on a snowboard becuase there are so many way to hit a rail. Oh, and I have to say that snowboarding videos are way more fun to watch then skiing videos. Skiing videos just get really boring, and snowboard ones have so much variation.
 
take one out of mr. marley's book for this one: one love. for all of us skiers and snowboarders that one love is snow. we all love the same thing so whats up with us always hating on each other?? ive never understood it and the only poeple i hate are the assholes who think theyre sicker than everybody else on the mountain no matter what they ride. if you think about it this argument is like racism was back in the day but instead of skin color its the number of planks you ride on...
 
i agree with this. it kind of gets monotonous after a while because it all kind of looks the same. not that it is the same, but after 45 minutes and all your seeing is the same slides and a crossed up grab, it gets a little boring.

in snowboarding there are so many more variations in hitting a rail, and grabs look pretty smooth in the air, but the fact that skiiers can cross their skis in mid grab in my opinion is cooler than grabs in snowboarding. just the huge x in the air looks sick.

i also think that snowboarders can pull more steezy strait airs. idunno, but skiiers doing strait airs, unless there zeroes, just doesnt look that cool to me. whatever.

i disagree... you can nose press and tail press, cross grind, broken leg grind, and more shit take charel gangaier gor example he has so many different grinds. even 50/50's ,skiers can do that too. and then skiers can do tons more grabs, cuz they can cross it up.
 
have you seen them done before? true some look super gay but if you can do them good they look so sick.
 
Have you tried skiing lines, dropping cliffs etc.? Skiing isn't all about hitting the freaking park up.

You are such a nig its unreal! have you ever been to a ski mountain? cuz if you had you know that 90% of freeskiers are always just doing each other and ski-polin' their bros on the lifts. Why the fuck do people think that skiing and snowboarding makes them so different from teh rest of society? i'm sure that you're a douche like the other 80% of society that has been proven to be douches. Its no different in your little world than it is in the real world.

shut teh fuck up. snowboarders have just as much a right to be here as anyone. youll notice there is a snowboarder icon for occupation in peoples profiles, as well as photographer, videographer, or skiier. Legitimately, snowboarders can be ns members. who are you to judge that?
 
Dont get me wrong, skiing is ill, but all of my friends snowboard except like 3 or 4. And they all respect skiing and have givin it a shot. This year I am startin to do some urban jibs and other stuff on a snowboard. It is just so much easier to make your self look steezy. But as my father always says "Any knuckle head can drag, it takes skill and demermination to ski".......biggest hippie comment I have ever heard.
 
first of all why are you on this website saying that and second thats not true.. Sking looks so much steezier since snowboarders are always waving there arms everywhere.. And you can do presses of ski's just get like invaders or fujis i think and then are unlimited possibilites of variations
 
no they don't. Have you ever watched the xgames? and beyond that very rarely do i see snowboarders boost that high out of the pipe on normal days. with a snowboarder and a skier of the same skill, the skier will go higher
 
uh.............yeah....... this is brought up way to fucking much..........who's care's?? honestly if you ski but admire snowboarders then why don't you snowboard? And oh yeah snowboarding is not better than skiing, just like skiing is not better than snowboarding, they're completely different...... if you think one is more "progressive" then you can shove it up your ass..............it's like saying an apple is more progressive than an orange
 
i find that almost everytime i go to a park, all the snowboarders suck and the skiers are awesome. i'm not saying snowboarding sucks, i'm saying alot of people suck at snowboarding. plus, outside of the park, snowboarding does not look steezy whatsoever. skiers can carve and glide and just look graceful. but it seems like every snowboarder i've ever seen looks like shit all the time.
 
its because they have one board to press while we have to...

they can get there whole body over there nose and tail and we cant so it doesnt flex as much.... our boards are longer and theres are shorter there for easier to press....
