i do both but i mostly ski, its not like i hate snowboarders. i have respect for them. but i defiently i find skkiing better

does it really matter if one in fact is truly cooler than the other anyways? I mean I hope people don't change from one to the other because the other is lame, and they are just changing for the sake of being cool.

its just hit me one day. everything i did on skis was an attempt to repeat what i saw snowboarders doing. skiing has lost its aesthetic to me. it seems like a bunch of glorified rollerblading with a an athletic blend of gymnastics. blah! why do we watch more snowboard movies than ski movies?
 
because a life of passivity and self concious reservation is a potential tragedy.hate is the only way to truth... . snowboarding to me just looks better and more natural.

Absolutely not...snowboarders are so limited in terms of tricks and grabs it's not even funny. I even conversted a snowboarder (boarding for 12 years) to skiing this week. Snowboarding is getting so fucking weak it's ridiculous. Your rail skills are absolute shit not to mention your aerials.

Go cry about your dying sport somewhere else you panzy.

wow it is realy hard to tell a joke here isn't it. The group that i ride with consists of me 2 other skiiers and 4 boarders so obvs i don't like go hunt them down in dark ally's or something.

I guess the joke just failed like me in chemistry

Both are fun. Taos opens to riders on the 19th, when this was announced, a whole bunch of skiers flooded snowboarding-related websites to vent, what was the point of that? They're simply different ways of getting down the hill.

Okay, well, I do think that a well-executed powder turn is nicer on a snowboard than on skis.

 
I didn't bother reading any of the ensuing argument but I decided to switch to snowboarding because my mountain sucks so much i need something new to make it interesting. but now i have to spend money to buy the gear which kinda sucks, i should have bought a board back when could pay proform from burton, coulda gotten their most expensive board for 200 bucks!!!

but then I'd kinda feel like a tool for having such nice gear and sucking. but whatever it would have been worth it.
