Snowboarding in ski edits

Lately i've seen a lot of ski edits that include snowboarding. Should we be bringing the two sports together or keeping them separate? What does everyone think about edits with both skiing and snowboarding?
 
im always stoked to see the snowboarding shots in stept... Justin Norman and others should be dope in Mutiny!
 
The snowboard industry still tries to keep skiing down I don't see why we should help them. They don't need the help anyways.
 
riders hate on skiing in interviews (http://snowboarding.transworld.net/1000079480/uncategorized/10-questions-with-danny-kass/), hate on skiing in social media (http://instagram.com/p/Xgjm1/#), no skiing in snowboard edits, ads that treat skiing as a joke.
 
downdays is a ski site, plus it looks like they all ride for gopro. this edit is just another example of skiing trying to piggy back on snowboarding when it doesn't need to. There is a torstien edit with jossi in it but that's all i know of. If you can find others i'd be glad to ease my distaste for snowboarding a lil. Tanner gave a few technine riders so much love in his vids and never got any back in theirs.
 
Oh they only do that shit to seem cool to some fucking lame-ass 14 year old poser decked out in the latest and greatest burton, grenade or whatever the fuck they wear.
 
lib tech won't even call their skis 'skis', they call them 'narrow ass snowboards'. That's like having sex with someone who purposely yells out another guy's name in bed.
 
I enjoy seeing snowboarders like Dash Kamp and Joe Mango in edits but I agree most snowboarders still hate skiers
 
Lets stop talking about snowboarders. This is a ski site. If they are good, stick them in your edit. Sherpa sticks whitewater kayaker in their movies, so weirder things have happened.
 
Its comparable to watching a skate edit and then all the sudden some fruit booter comes on. It sometimes kills the vibe of the edit and i usually get a little bored if I'm watching a snowboard seg for too long. But i don't have a problem with snowboarding. Its just not as interesting to watch
 
I could care less both sports are great and fun to watch and skiing/snowboarding has its bad apples but don't let that ruin the harvest
 
Do we all agree that transworld snowboarding and snowboard mag are fucking retarded just because they hate on skiing no matter what.
 
I don't mind it. Voleurz did a good job of making a movie for everybody. But I always fast forward through the snowboarding.
 
Skiing and snowboarding need to unite. It can only help both sports and make them bigger as a whole. They already have competition skiing at the same level as snowboarding. I can see why snowboarders hate on skiers. Kids wearing super bright ass ugly Saga and kids doing K-Feds over and over and after banging the shit out of them. Everyone doesn't need to act HARD and try to be the most G or have the freshest gear or any of that shit. Just Barge it and sole shred, once the majority of park rats can understand just shredding for themselves and not making edits every fucking day from Breck or Park City and looking like a thug from compton, then thats when Snowboarders will give us some respect. So dont ski to become the next Tom Wallisch, ski for having your own fun, take some groomers some pipe laps some tree runs and spend less time doing K-Feds on boxs. This is the only time I have ever posted on a thread and probably the last. I felt I had something to say so sorry for the short story, read it and Open your eyes and mind to more things beyond Saga, double corks, shitty computer emulated music and Gangsters. Peace.
 
I'm a snowboarder, sometimes I like to watch snowboard videos, sometimes I like to watch ski edits, but I like to keep them separate. occasionally I like seeing them together but not often.

 
It is nice to see. Look at things like the voleurz movies, they are great to watch with a group of people because not only will the skiers be satisfied but the boarders as well. It creates almost a common ground where the two sports/ groups can come together and enjoy something.
 
I fucking HATE the fact that skiers include snowboarders in movies, videos, etc... but you will not see one skier in any snowboard movie or videos. They don't dare to include skiers in their content. It's ridiculous. Snowboarders just have to be soooooo core
 
Honestly, my biased opinion is that skiing in general, park or pow, is just more interesting and fun to watch than snowboarding. I don't put snowboarding in my edits not because I want to segregate the sports, I do it because I honestly think that my edits are cooler just with skiers.
 
I am guilty! All my no edit edits have boarders and skiers because that is reality. At Bachelor we all seem to get along just fine. I am a skier. The boarders give me respect and I give it back. Sure there are a lot of boarders in all my videos, but there are ALWAYS some good skiers too. Sometimes there are more boarders on the Mt. If I did not include them I would be bored as hell. To those who have enjoyed my no edit edits, thanks for not dissin' just because there is a ton of boarders too. I would say that all edits here should not be pure boarding for sure, as this site is billed as a ski site. Take care all, Jacques
 
Yeah dude I get to watch them all the time at Yawgoo, they are so entertaining. I never knew they were big even on Newschoolers.
