Snowboarders

man have you seen any new ski movies they blow all snowboard movies away, yea they were better 5 years ago when there was no real twin tip movies there was only warren miller
 
2007-five years=2002

During the winter of 2002 MSP and Poorboyz had Ski Movie 2 and Propaganda out. And both companies were filming for Ski Movie 3 and Happydayz. I might be wrong here, but didn't happydayz atleast have one guy on twintips?

Also I was referring to avatar which is of the video company Robot-Food the best company for videos evar.
 
i snowboard. i love ns. the end. if i really want to talk snowboarding on here, i go in the snowboard cult. and i love skiing too.
 
I blame the whole skiing vs. snowboarding war on two things.

First was because of the resorts that didnt allow (or still dont allow) snowboarding back when it was starting to take off (ussually because of a traditionalist attitude.. Alta v. Snowbird is the big one)

Snowboarding only grew from this because it became the youthful anti-authority "cool" thing to do... while skiing was still stuck in this whole funk that was all about just looking good in your onepiece or something...

Then I also blame it on Johnny Tsunami, because that just epitomised the anti-skiing attitude of the time, and made us skiers look like stuckup, white, brats with lots of money and soo not cool. (Rephrased: anyone on two planks all looked like racers after that movie).

Either way, I have never had any animosity towards snowboarders... unless they were the jerkbag ones that hate on skiing as if its the antichrist or something and make up these stupid stories such as "I hate all skiers because this one time this ONE skier happened cut me off and I fell down and hurt my ass" or "oh my god.. in line, some skier couldnt stop and ran over my board and scratched it waaah waaah..."

Those kind of snowboarders (or skiers that do the opposite)are ussually the types of people that I want to pour ipicac in their chile when they are in the lodge...
 
i dont think park skiing would be what it is if snowboarding didnt come along

but there are so many dick snowboarders
 
Theres ass holes in both sports, for skiing its the usually the older gaper parents getting angry because their kid almost hit you. Snowboarding just has a "cool" appeal to younger kids who are complete ass holes and suck. Although I go to Killy once a year and see why people hate on snowboarding, massive amounts of gapers sit in the middle of a trail and in landings in shit. It was rediculous
 
i think that the sport of snowboarding is ok and shouldn't be hated, its just that a lot of stupid dick heads happen to snowboard and think theyre the shit cus of it and they should be hated
 
does skiing have anything to do with snow in the name. NO SKIING

SNOWboarding ok so does that mean that only snowboarders are allowed on the snow I dont think so son. Skiiers should be allowed on snow and snowboarders should be allowed on NS
 
I know....lets try and keep skiing under wraps. and not let it grow and introduce it to anybody else...yeah thats the way it should be

LOL this is the best part of the whole thread. unfortunately (or fortunately) for skiers snowboarders are here to stay so no matter how much you bitch about it they're not going anywhere

this is a cool site, can't we all just get along, in the words of rodney king?

if skiers and riders are both chill folks, then all the better. both sides have their share of jerks, unfortunately, though.
