Snowboarders

you guys are fucking retarded. its the same goddamned sport practically. fighting about which is cooler was cool in middle school but i think we can get past it now. would you like it if snowboarders gave you shit every time you went into the "board park"? stop splitting hairs and get a life
 
snowboarders are sick if there not like all cocky and shit i think that snowboarding looks so cool but there are just too many stereotypical snowboarders who just do it to be cool who completely wreck the sport
 
snowboarders are sweet, they got sick style and stuff, but they are fucking slwo, so i always call them slowboarders. Other than that its radical and has inspired almost all of our skiing stuff. 
 
i never dissed snowboarders. Its just that the site planly says "skiings online community". Nowhere is the word or sport snowboard involved. i was just wondering what thats all about.
 
it maybe the skiing community but ns has a lot more than that you can get info on local mtn's and comps meet up with kids who just like to ride like you and i know personally a few kids who snowboard on this site and they are cool people so dont diss them i just recomended a snowboarder get into this site just the other day cuz its a sick site you can get such good info about anything here
 
skis, teles, cross-country, snowboarding, are all in the same family. i like that boarders are on the site to give thier input. so stop bitching. we are family!!

I snowboard and i ride with mostly skiiers that are sick and a couple snowboarders. At my mountain freeskiing and park riders get along so good. Were all like one big crew that gets along good. And i think skiing looks mad steezy specially corks and pretzles

 
Im confused are you saying you dont want them on newschoolers? If so why not? They had alot to do with our sports progresion
 
Nothing wrong with snowboarding... it's got its own gnar-factor...

It's different, which makes it cool...

Fighting is what makes skiing and snowboarding stronger... each trying to outdo the other one = progression.

With that said, I've been skiing since snowboards werent even shaped... or even allowed most places, therefore I ski, rather than board...

i have said it once and i will say it again, newschoolers is by far the best online community that i have been to.(cults pwn) no where even really compares. plus skiers and snowboarders have similar interests so why not mix it up? skiing is progressing a lot right now and a lot of that has to do with snowboarding.
 
the only difference between me and my snowboarding homies is that i have 2 boards on my feet. seriously thats the only difference
 
i've snowboarded for 7 years and just started skiing this year. i like the skiing scene so much more because it doesn't contain the cocky ass hot head snowboarders. i know not all snowboarders are but it was just really starting to piss me off. every kid and his brother snowboarded. next year i will be twin tipping 95% of the time.
 
I've noticed the snowboarders who aren't very good feel it's cool to make fun of skiers, or the skiers who aren't very good feel it's cool to make fun of boarders. After that most skiers or boarders are just there to have fun, not hate each other. I was skiing with another skier and 2 boarders. Two boarders started mocking me..."HUH HUH, I SKI !!!!!!" I took off my goggles and gave them a stare... I can be good at those, it shut them up. Anyway, the point of the story is they were on rentals and didn't board all that well, and... you guessed it, made fun of skiers.
 
I agree with you there Some racers are so cocky, it's ridiculous. Plus they're so worried about their $1,000 skis to have fun. I expect to run over rocks, trees, stumps, and rails. No need to freak out if I drop my skis on the ground.
 
Everyone should get along. We're all on the slopes to enjoy the snow and have fun. Personally I snowboard, but I do want to try skiing eventually. My brother skis and I snowboard. When I'm on the mountain, I like to talk to skiers about Newschoolers and stuff, but I don't really have anything to say to snowboarders. There's not a better, more entertaining forum out there that's all about snowsports than Newschoolers. YAY for NS!
 
yea the other day i was at the B4BC jam and one was out of control and came smashing into a croud of ppl that sucked cause he smashed up a bunch of stuff luckily my skis stoped him
 
have you ever been on snowboarding.com that is why they arre on ns who cares if they are anyways i think they are on to something that alot of snowboarders arent they like skiing
 
you kno wut all u need to just shut the fuck up who cares if you ski or snowboard. i use to snow board and now i ski and i hate it wen ppl talk shit bout either cuz its all personal and yeah snowboarders have a bad rep buts that cuz of a few and skiers are getting the same damn rep so u kno who cares wut u do as long as ur out there shredding the pow and park...well as long as its not my pow cuz then i want it all day long
 
who cares. snowboarding is sick and i seriously like snowboard movies just as much. sure u cant see their tricks and take them to the hill(not that i can compete with pros) but still, snowboard movies are sick
 
i snowboard, but i skiied for one run on saturday, and i was gang, wit no pole steeze. i could do rails. WHAT NOW BITCH
