SNOWBOARDERS: What board/boards you ride this Season?

I pretty much totally switched to skiing this year. But my board setups are an Omatic Extr-Eco with black Union force bindings, and a Capita Unorthodox with the first Airblaster/Union colab bindings.

Capita stairmaster from a couple seasons ago

Ride betas from a couple seasons ago

horribly beat 32 jp walkers from a few seasons ago. A few years of 100+ days left them fucked up. Was going to buy new boots but I shatter my collar bone and couldn't ride pretty much the whole season anyway. Next year new boots.

Ride betas

Fucking love ride betas, all I ever plan on riding again. I'm going to hit the internet and buy every pair I can find. I had one set stolen on my rome a couple years ago. I have 2 now but they've seen a lot of use. The stairmaster is still rockin it, no point in buying another yet.

I only ride 5-10 times a year.

But this is my set up. MERICA

Fucking love this set up. Soooo much fun

I picked this up this year and it was a really fun board to ride. Probably my favorite so far.(use with some flux rk30s)

i absolutely love this setup. had it the past 2 seasons and its still going strong. i also abuse the heck out of it, so if you're looking for a tough setup, look no further.

probably going to try some unions in the near future because of the hype lol.

How buttery is it?

This year I rocked last years forum republics on a contract 150. That board blew. Love my destroyer though. So nice and perfect for everything.

2010 burton hate *rockered* with Gnu street bindings (quickload from the back so you never have to adjust the straps) and some 08 burton 420 freestyle boots. I would recommend those bindings to anybody who wants to spend less than 10 seconds strapping in every time

Got them for a good deal, Still Pretty stoked on my set up, don't see the need to buy any other set up till mine breaks beyond repair

Lib Skate Banana 152

Lib Skate Banana 156

Trice C2BTX 161.5 (just gave to my roommate)

Trice Banana Hammock 160 (best pow board ever. ever.)

Scotty Wittlake 156.5 from a few years ago...It's a wall piece now

and a Ride 157 Buckwild.

For boot's, Ride Hi-Phy Boa's and some of next years FUL's

For diners, Ride Delta's. Mmmm

last years rome garage rocker, old pair of rome 390s but i killed them this season so i am looking at either a pair of technine elements with the scrub hook, or the custom capitaXunion ultrafears. any thoughts on which one?

yo guys i have a 154 skate banana with '12 union force, should i sell it for another setup if i'm going to do 100% park? i'm 5'10 157lbs

people said for me it should be 152 for park, 150 for jibs, is that true? 152 and 150 isnt that big of a difference.. and how are the yes boards?

holy shit dude.. Well I don't ride park. I can imagine a smaller board is more favorable than a big one in the park.

I know nothing about snowbaording, but got all this at like a 75% off sale brand new gear a few years ago. It's been fun but I'm thinking maybe a new board. Maybe a skate banana?

Yeah you and every other wanna be park rat with an Airblaster jacket and Ashbury goggles...

But I copped a Forum Rat and some Union Contacts this year and it's a dope setup. I rode a Gnu CHB before my Forum and it shits on it.

Also, the graphics are dope.

yea i don't like that image at all

during 10/11 i had union contact sl
UnionSierraContactSL(5).jpg

and one of the straps fell off while i was pushing around and i never found it :( andi feel like contacts don't hold my boots tight enough, it's like they would let go any second. i'm trying to score some rasta datas or wait for next year's unions or switchback

Yeah all the kids I have been shredding with for the last 4 or 5 years have turned into these Snocompton park rat douches when they aren't even any good at riding park and they are all like dudeee Capita Airblaster Omg!!!q I mean they are some dope companies but they only bought that shit to hop on the bandwagon and look like Jed Anderson.

But idk I haven't had any problems with my Contacts yet but I got them like halfway through this season so I only have like 20 days on them.

Also, pics so I can show off mah cool graphics on my board.

last years forum contract, and to whoever was asking what board was best for al mountain/park go with a forum destroyer get either a 2011 or 2012 model in 154. It's a dope board and wicked sturdy.

And union binders suck from what ive seen of them. I work as an instructor and the bindings that ive seen hold up best are burton and forum bindings.

Yeah well you also eat meth so I'm not sure I trust your opinion...

Also most instructors I know are pretentious assholes who aren't very good at actually snowboarding...

just my opinion.

lets see...

i broke my '10 gnu dirty pillow, broke my '10 rome artifact rocker, broke my friends '09 k2 turbo dream. it was a slow and rocky start to the season i guess....

got the pillow and artifact warrantied and loved both of the new models, the artifact rocker is a 156 and kills all kinds of terrain. i rode chutes, the park, pow with it at big sky all season, it was awesome. on the deep days i'd bring out the pillow for the true rocker and it's fun, but unstable sometimes on groomers. i got to ride a k2 gyrator and it's a ton of fun, but like the pillow it's true rocker and is mostly only fun in pow

if i had to choose one, i'd go with the rome, it killed it all this winter. and we had quite the variety of conditions this season, deep days, ice, crud, everything

yeah most of the instructors at the larger mountains in my area arent very good, i work at a tiny hill and its really for the free season pass to hot lap a park on a hill of 285'...and the discounts we get are pretty sweet as well.

Basically go to what ever company you like, Click there Jib board category, and there you go

how much you weight? 143 is tiny

My Contract is harder to press than my destroyer. I'm not sure but I feel like the contract and rat are being dropped for 2013. But apart from being stiff my contract was Tough as nails and rode really well in all conditions and handled jumps well

company says that.

Lets get this back on track

I had a

now I'm selling a

and rode these

on these

the horrorscope rode awesome , could get a little schetchy and flex out at high speed but thats to be expected, but I rode the whole mountain with it. I know they changed the FK to start right inside the inserts when before it began outside the inserts, so Im guessing the newer models are a little more squirrely.

The artifact has also rode great, super fun board really soft and easy to press but still has a lot of pop, only reason Im selling it is Ive got size 12 feet crammed into a size 11.5 boot and should have gotten a wide board

My buddywon an artifact at Woodward last summer. He loved it until like 2/3rds into the season the whole metal edge started splitting off and ruined the board.

helllllll yeah buddy. I'm glad this was the first post. I only rode once this season but I was reppin one of those last season. 161 wide baby
