Snowboarders Switching To Skiing

How many of you are snowboard converts. The parks seem to have slowly shifted from being dominated by snowboarders to skiiers. At Mt. Snow this weekend I think there were definitely more twin tippers than boarders. If you swithched how long has it been? Anybosy else notice this shift?
 
word so did I, i went from a GNU danny kass to a pair of 04/05 K2 PE's.. now i got a pair of 07 Fujis. Its all history now. But mountain creek has an 1000-1 ration or boarders to skiers. No lie
 
yeah some snowboarders did on my mtn... its sweet, like it it used to be skiers rule the mtn then all of them graduated like 2 years ago and we were left with 4 other skiers beside me....

I ski sometimes on my friends skis, its fun, I might get a pair next year to see wich I like better
 
^Thats deep? Sorry I'm not loaded and can't buy a new snowboard and new skis in the same season along with other stuff
 
I skied from 2-10 then snowboarded from 11-17(now). i love snowboarding so much I could never see myself switching back. I do take out my dads skis once and a while to mess around with though. skiing is really fun, i just think snowboarding is really really really really fun!
 
my hill is almost all skiers in the park... theres an excess of shitty poser snowboarders but they suck, everyone with real talent is on twins...i mean theres still some good boarders and i respect them but the majority are tools.
 
i went from snowboarder to telemarker then to skis

cuz i started skiing alta and i had to rent so i when i grew out of my board i just hooked it up with some skis
 
i remember this girl that was the only snowboarder on a school ski trip we had like 10 years ago, and she used to say how much cooler snowboarding was than skiing and that skiers cant do anything snowboarders can do. then she broke her wrist, cause she sucked anyway
 
I skied from like 6-10, then I switched to snowboarding from 11-16, and now i'm skiing again. Well, doing both actualy, but I'd like to work on skiing for most of his season.
 
the expert/ intermediate parks are dominated by skiers. if you're lookin for snowboarders just head over to the beginner park. youll see em all sessioning a 4 ft flat box.

I've skied my whole life suckas. Im not half bad at snowboarding either, i snowboard when I dont have a lesson at my local mountain
 
My older bro and I started skiing, then he went to snowboarding for about 10 years, then I later converted to boarding to for 5 years, then he went back to skiing, freeskiing more specifically. Then a year later I converted back to freeskiing too.

A lot of kids are too I'm noticing. This year there's so many new skiers in the park, its wicked.
 
there is a kid in my class that use to snow board and just rip on me all day because i skied, so i beat his ass. Then, like a month ago, he decides to start skiing. I'm pretty pissed cause i thinks it's gay that dueches like him are representing skiing. I guess it's cool though because i sold him a pair of the shittiest rental boots i could find for $90

yea holy fuck 2 years ago there were like 15 freeskiers at my entier mountain then last year like 25 now its an even split almost between skiers and boarders!
 
I started skiing at 3, snowboarding at 12. I did about 25 days of each a year and last year converted to straight skiing.
 
If you go to any of the hills with the best parks, you will definitely see lots of boarders killing the expert sides.

Ever notice that it's only the intermediate, insecure, snowboard kids who trash talk skiers, while all the really good snowboarders totally respect skiing and skiers?

I think that works the other way around too.

what year is it? 2006 so okay i switched to snowboarding 17 years ago after skiing for 9. now i can say if they had shaped skis and TT's back in the day i would have probably never switch, but now that i have, i will never ever put on a pair of fucking ski boots again!!!!!!!
 
i snowboard and will never switch, but everyone i go with is all skiers, even my little bro. i like riding with skiers better than snowboarders anyway. and they have a way more dope style!!!!
 
i ride with a lot of snowboarders, it doesnt matter whether u have one or 2 planks strapped to your feet, its all about having fun

i am a snowboarder but i only ride with skiers.. i have been slowly trying to go to skiing but i do camps for snowbaording and i think thats the only thing thats keeping me from fully switching to skiing!
