ok my friends are mostly snowboarders, and one of them decides to try skiing for a day on 6 year old rossignals all rusty and shit, and theyre size 110's or sumthing. just fooling around he does a spread eagle off every jump, including the big air, and he hits and almost slides the whole 10 ft. of this rail you have to gap onto. crazy.

Why don't you take a long walk on a short peir.

plus that and skiing is easier to learn than snowboarding.

 
theyre the old school type skis for little kids, it was in his basement for the past 5 years.

I was skiing with my frieds this one day. And some snowboarder who we didn't know, walks up to my friend and asks if he can try his skis. This guy hasn't skied in 10 years and he trys a 25 ft flat rail. First try he gets like 10 ft. Second try, he gets 15 ft. Ices it 3rd try to switch out. It was so nast.

 
i know this kid, hes 12, he snowboarded most of his life, and was terrible at it. he could hardly turn. i let him use my 210s, it was his first time ever skiing. within 15 minutes, he was doing switch rodeo 720s over out 120 foot table with mad steeze. he was also switch unnaty 450ing onto the flat down flat down flat, 450ing out on his second run.

i got on a snowboard and first run fell a shitload then second run switch boardslides, Bflips, and Halfpipe shit was easier then just straight up cruising, so i believe snowboarding is wasted in the park

my friend thats super good at snowboarding rips on my skis, welll he does 3s over tables. Way bettter at skiing then i am at snowboarding

ok, just about ANYONE can do a spread eagle....and like everyone else said....he was riding 110s, so yeah he would land it like any other shmo.

Most boarders (that i know) learn to ski pretty well before they try to board, so obviously theyre gonna b better at skiing than skiers are at boarding. But that is also my guess as to why all the skiers at my mountain are better than the boarders- because theyve been doing it longer.
