So im at my local mtn this weekend, alpine meadows, and at the end of the run, there is an up box, which you can choose to either go all the way up and off, or go up, reach a point like 9/10 of the way up, then go back down. So eveyone waits their turn, then drops and hits it all the way or up and back (a la candide in X) So the guys in front of me go up and back, and im doing the same.

So I go up in a nosepress, and right when i stop and im about to go back down, like 3/4 of the way up, i hear this sliding noise. ITS TWO FUCKING BOARDERS GOING STRAIGHT ON THE BOX, NOT BOARDSLIDE, BUT 50-50, AT ME GOING LIKE 30. SO WE GET IN THIS BIG ASS CRASH AND THEY GET UP AND LOOK AT ME LIKE I DID SOMETHING WRONG. Fuck snowboarders, learn some park respect. So i told them that with a nice fuck you at the end. fucking faggots.

it has nothing to do with them being snowboarders, and everything to do with them being idiots. they come in all types. no one can deny the ski idiots who like to take their kids on special ski tours of the park.... you know, skiing and stopping on the decks of jumps under the lips and stuff like that... or doing some nice wedge turns 1/4 of the way up the pipe walls... so that a really nice kink can appear... theres just as many stupid skiers as there are snowboarders...

this is not to say that the morons who 50/50 ed into you arent idiots. im certain that they were.

haha yeah i liked how the one day i went down to this stall thing and 180ed on and as i was 180ing off some snowboarder just randomly rides up next to me, my ski went like into his side hahaha, thats his fault for not knowing skiers can accually do stuff.

yea where i ski, there is a flat-down box with the in-jump right up to the box. boarders will come at it about 1mph slide the flat 50/50. then just enough speed to clear the kink, totally destroying the lip.

Crow cuz they just sit in the park on their ass and watch people hit shit. (I like to hockey stop an spray snow all over them then go hit the table their staring at). And sauce because they dress, talk, and think that they are good but THEY SUCK!!! FUCK CROW-SAUCE.

 
I have hit that box, pretty fun. Its kind of annoying people waiting by the landing of that last jump to drop in to the box though. Its pretty big and sucks when people kind of cross over the landing to hit the box. Maybe the snowboarders had hit that bottom kicker, then you had cut in as they were landing so actually you messed up their run. Dunno just a thought. I love that last jump!

basically, there are really annoying people and some of them ski and a lot of them snowboard. there are total asshole snowboarders and skiers... once this skier like whipped past me in the trees and almost killed me and skied off with out saying anything.. but he was a racer.. anyway my point is that dumb people come in all sorts of packaging.
