Snowboard used a box?

my friend is thinking about using his old snowboard which he would take off the bindings and put it upside down and screw it on this frame he has to make a box....would this work???

at camp of champs i saw one of the boarders lie on his back and hold his board upsidown and one of the coaches jibbed it it was sick

yeah i made one 3 years ago,they work but there super slippery.plus there only like 4 feet long, they are not that fun.
