Allot of the kids i shred with are snowboarders and i always watch there snowboard movies and as much as i hate to addmit it they are still way sicker then ski movies though ski movies are a little better now. And like everything ells in skiing the music and shitt is all what was in the last years snowboard movies
 
Like no joke if you watch one of this years ski moveis or even older ones like lame and after lame you will jsut think wow skiing movies suck
 
snowboard movies like those from robot food leave you feeling like you know the rider. the videos have a very playful feel that really capture the fun we all experience when we ski/snowboard. in addition to all of this, the cinematography is absolutely astounding.
 
atleast Whiteshine is unique......it doesn't have the content of a snowboard vid, but atleast it doesn't resemble one either......completely original, i love it
 
Teddybear crisis and s6 beats any snowboard movie anytime;D But i have to admit that snowboard movies are fun to watch. Especially fun and cool I found a free snowboard movie of this year, elekrep (www.elekrep.com) . Robotfood movies are also nice but mack dawg movies are sometimes just lame :(
 
I totally agree with you! I went to Whiteshine's world premier and it was so sick! I bought the movie right away and the extras are really good (over 2 hrs of extras)!
 
^ not really snowboarding movies kick ski movies asses. Ski movies are getting better but they still have a long time to go
 
But it also happens backwards, that the songs heard In good ski movies appear magically a few years later into snowboard movies. magic isn't it....
 
its so ture.. think about every trend in skiing, in all aspects..(movies/clothes/tricks/attitudes/grabs/style) who did them 1st? snowboarders
 
^ I think they are but not becuase of line difficulty but the way they ride it is so much cooler. The only skier that comes close is E Pollard
 
well if you guys see that new DC mountain lab thing its absolutely amazing. Just the whole feel and everything is grrrreeat great music and eeverything. but 11th hour ( ski movie) was really really good in that way too.
 
i dont see why ski movies arent changing. thats why people dont like msp much anymore, its because it tries to be all serious and its just the same thing every year. sh6 was close to as good, i havent seen whiteshine or eleventh hour yet so mabye those are closer.

and i also think we are trying to do what snowboarding is doing instead of of trying to do better, which is gay cause i think we have alot more potential than snowboarding, for movies, and creativeness.
 
oh yeah up1-2 that was really really good, i think it beat pretty much every other ski movie this year. except it was short, but whatever.
 
community project was dope and an even better idea. I think ski movies still need improvement after watch shit like that.
 
yea im not saying that i like skiing more then boarding, i would board if i did but we can learn allot from there movies and try and do better, but not coppy them
