Snowboard fashion is getting really really lame

What the fuck is up with all the gayper style shit, like the tight knee pants and the neon airblaster shit. it all looks sooo bad. and they think its stylish. the only reason ever to dress like a gayper is if its april 1st. im really tired of every time im in the lift line seeing 3 or 4 snowboarders all in the same tight pants, with their leg bags and neon wind breakers.
 
oh i think grenade is coming out with a silver like astronaught suit, correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure its grenade, it looks retarded
 
i think it looks sick. snowboarders are dope and air blaster is a great company that recognizes both snowboarding and skiing. i don't understand the hate around leg bags they make sense, its almost impossible for shit to come out or fall on.
 
airblaster is amazing, i wear airblaster stuff cuz its so sick, and im guessing u wear all dark colors rite?
 
yea to each his i won i agree. i would care more about how they ride than what they dress. everyone started skiing and snowboarding to have fun and you shouldn't forget that
 
That's the problem. There's too many kids wearing it that don't rip. They don't do much actually and the only ripping they do is on other people.
 
snowboarding is so gay we start doing strait leg grabs and then the whole burton promotion video is them just doin like huge strait leg grabs
 
Yeah but it kind of ruins the vibe. You've got chill kids wearing whatever they want, and when shitty kids with shitty attitudes see it as a fashion statement; it then looses meaning and is played. Think of it like an underground rap song going mainstream. Eventually you get of hearing it even though you thought it was sick at first.
 
ur all fuckin stupid. just cuz riders (i mean actual riders not park skiers) were here before u and will be here after u doesn't mean u need to fuckin hate. by the way gangsta steeze or oversized steeze was done in boarding and so the steeze is going back to more crazy shit like when boarding began and also, once again, very skate influenced.
 


get over yourselves. people aren't going to change what they wear, so learn to accept it. just because you have a whack sense of fashion dosen't mean you can hate on everyone else.
 
I actually read an article in a snowboard magazine a while ago(I think it was transworld) about how skiers have been copying snowboarder style for a while now, but in actuallity, the predicted style for next year is going to be what skiers are wearing this year! matching bright pastel clothes. They also made several inclinations into self-created gettups, like sewing new shit on and stuff.
 
you sound like a bunch of hicks, saying how gay bright clothes and tight pants are. who cares? if you dont like it thats your problem, dont wear it.
 
Some bright stuff is cool, but I think skiers' fashion is more lame than snowboarders'. Like the matching jacket and pants get up, excessive neon, shitty camo patterns. There's alot of airblaster stuff that isn't bright but their next season stuff is going to be. But I don't really care cause I wear Arc'teryx, which has the best colors.
 
yeah exactly, some skiers look so freaking gay with all the matching stuff, like 1 pieces, all green, blue, red outfits. we look like fags. snowboarders wear much cooler stuff.

I mean, I'll admit - those aren't nearly as crazy as some of the snowboarding stuff - and i bet lots of you even have shit lik that ^, but still - there is alot of crazy ski stuff.
