Snowbladers tearing up Breck

Those kids absolutely throw down. But as long as everyone here thinks shoes with wheels and really short skis are something to hold against someone, I will too.
 
I bet if tom wallisch made an edit on snowblades over half the kids here would go out and buy some to be just like tom.

Honestly I dont care what people do for fun, if they dont cut off people, act like dicks, call drops I'm fine with it. If a skier is an ass and poaches shit then I have a problem with it, its not what they are riding its whos riding it. I agree snowblades may look kinda funny sometimes but whatever let people do what they want, it may not be your thing but who cares.
 
i don't see what's so hard about knowing what the point is of them....... to get to the bottom of the hill just like skis/snowboards/mono ski/sit downs they all do the same thing. quit acting like you don't know what the point of them are. They are here, ppl ride em just like skis just they are shorter, not a hard concept
 
Damn, I'm willing to bet anything that you and everyone else on this website that rips on snowbladers would NEVER have skied when it wasn't cool. When skiers got ripped on in the park cuz it wasn't the popular thing to do. And one day, if snowblading blows up and you sheep follow the newest fashion trend you'll find a new sport to shit on and belittle. Superiority complexes are pretty funny. Not hard to talk shit behind a monitor in your bedroom.

you never see anything snowblade related on here from the moderators so this isnt a website for your breed of snowsport enthusiast

i dont know why you skiboarders insist on saying ur just as good when it doesnt look nearly as good, why cant you puton some regular skis and do, why chose snowblading over skiing, so you get noticed more? the only good reason i see would be how that one guy is a pro rollerblader and this would be the closest thing, but if u can rollerblade alright get get a pair of skis and have fun with it learn something new

and its illegal in 4 states for skibladers to blade powder

The reason snowbladers or skiboarders are on here is because we twin tip retard, and we want to buy sell or trade ski stuff. do you ever see snowbladers or skiboarders making posts about snowblading or skiboarding? noooo its you guys who always make the posts about it.
 
Don't you find it odd that the snowblade pros of 1999 were far better, and more stylish than your current snowblade pros? You have witnessed first hand the degradation of your sport and seen it relegated to essentially nonexistent status. I'll admit, I used to snowblade in 90s, but skiing provided far better everything. Why not switch over? Just to keep that pro model blade? It seems like such a cop out. There were 12 year olds in the breck park that day who could have put on blades for the first time and schooled your pro blade crew on any feature you choose.
This argument isn't about choice, it is about stupidity for not choosing better options.

I respect snowbladers. I mean who woulden't respect a sport pioneered by people in patriots jackets baseball hats and sunglasses skiing during cristmass vacation and feburary vacation.(in the east coast).
 
No. Andy Stewart and Joey Ciprari went to skiing b/c they could go fast enough to go big. They kill it now. Micah Rhoese leveraged riding to get into film production. Brinton Gunderson did it as a hobby when he couldn't snakeboard. J Lev and Mike Nick went where the money was; making skis vs. skiboards. That's not a cheap shot. They had to keep LINE in business and Karhu drove them in that direction.

Just kidding, my friends and I have a once annual snowlerblade day where we take a few runs on blades. Rodeo 5's off moguls, 900's off nothing. Good times. When we get to the bottom, we just walk across the cement to get on the gondola. Then go huck 14" backflips. Epic...

i've got no hate for snowblading, don't see why anybody else should, snowblading is cute. snowblading is like skiing's little sister, and we should all love our little sister, despite her shortcomings.
