Snowbladerrzzz

at the belleayre rail jam there was this one snowblader that looked like jesus, and came in second place that was actually good at it and had good style, i thought that was impossible. He did a 450 on 270 out of a down box, then hit the battleship and did a 360 sw up and gapped over the top part, with style. I have mad respect for this guy, and any other snowbladers that are good. He beat out a bunch of good skiers, and i thought he should have won. Prior to this i thought that it was only possible to have good syle on bladezzz was if you had a penis up your butt. just thought i'd share my unique experience with you all

hehe me neighter.

but some snowbladerzzzzzzzz can be pretty good if they are serious about it and not some little kids that think they have mad skillzzzzzzz when they are skiing on bladezzzzzzz.

He was so sick, he had tons of style and none of that typical hunched-over snowblader steeze. The guy I know only as Chrictonkid on newschoolers got third, good for him, I am glad someone that is a Belleayre regular did well. I also liked that dude with the heat jersey, he was so smooth, but I guess he diddnt go all the way, I couldnt stay for the whole thing.

your saying if you had a penis up your ass it would improve your style? I dont know what kinda style you have but sounds sketch.

jk yo, sounds like an interesting rail jam!

i think the kid you're talking about is named ben. he was wearing a piston's jersey. the way he was riding during practice all day i thought for sure he was going to win it all but he fell off in the finals.

here he is:

it was definitely a fun comp, and props to the guys who put it on, much love... but some things went horribly wrong. for example, will wesson not making it to the finals, yikes. in the qualifying jam he was undoubtedly the most impressive, matching and topping every trick everyone else was doing and doing things others weren't (270 on pretzel 270 out of the c-box)... also, not too sure about judging skiboarders with skiers, they're a bit too different to do that... but all in all, great time, had a blast, i think everyone else did too.

I am sure that 450 on would be easier on those though so if you had style it would be so sweet to be able to do like fives off the ground

dude its not fair he gets a better spot

its soo damn easy to spin on those i bet

so its not fair at all

its like doing moto cross with a dirt bike when everyone has harleys haha

Yeah, first everyone bitches that it's too easy or that it's "gay" and then when someone finally stands up and goes toe to toe with other skiers and comes up in the top three then some of you start with other excuses saying that it's easier to spin and blah blah blah; just stop bitching and recognize that not all skiboarders are as lame as some of you think.

Theres a snowblader at my mountain who is a really good amateur rollerblader, so he ski boards. Hes cool and has good style. If he wasnt such a good rollerblader I would think hes gay for blading... but I can see how it relates.

there will probably be an edit done shortly.

for those of you who are skeptic, the skiboard Ben who got 2nd place, made the whole crowd yell out louder then any other skier or snowboarder did. ask anyone who was there, everyone was up in arms at his final run.

most people believe he should have gotten 1st place. but, theres no way the judges would have given him fisrt tho, it would have been a slap in the face to the sponsors.

i'm not gunna talk shit i used to skiblade before twins were around, but it is a lot easier to spin on and off of rails because there is practically no swing weight to them 90% of the weight is under your feet, it's like spinning with sneakers on and whoever said it was harder to do rails because there's less surface area is an idiot it's a lot easier to balance, and only one part of your ski touches the rail at any given point, as is the same with skiblades. so props to this guy for doing so well, but in all honestly it can't really be judged the same

one of the great things about this comp was that the skiers and skiboarders got along. everyone was cool to each other and there was respect all around. don't let this thread deteriorate like all the rest. we're all just sliding on fucking snow after all.

oh and video being uploaded to youtube as i type.

Prediction snowblading blows up in '07

Mike Nick will come back

Line will prove solvent after exploding skiboard sales

Eric Pollard decides skins fit way better on snowblades and starts dominating bc hits with them.

haha, i love it, first skiboarding is gay, then a kid shows up with style and kills it, so now its easy. sounds like haters to me. eventually we're gonna have to give credit where it's due, keep killin it ben. peace.

parkerhouse! its jesus... how are ya man! hahaha thanks so much for the stoke dude... it really means alot. i was going to fight you though... hahahha jokeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeessss... come to canada and we'll shred some longsticks boys!!

thanks for the love, this is great

With skis, spins are difficult, but landing is easy....

Why can't anyone give credit where credit is due?
