Snowblader Sightings

Does anyone else just live for seeing the classic snowblader coming down the hill, one peice, no headgear, and holding both poles in one hand? Well, i witnessed it today on the hill, and it really made my day, i even made verbal contact, but he wasnt to pleased.

well thats pretty tough because my hand is a lot sexier than many females-NewSkool450

I had a worse sighting...red shorts over spandex, neon green shinguards, pole guards, and doing gross carves like he meant it.

I dont know half of you half as well as I should like, and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

thats a classic, but the best is the ones that have backpack, nothing in it of course, and snowblade, and poles that are almost their height, not to mention they were asain, so it made it funniuer.

my one friend was pushed into a pole and he riped his sack open on impact now we call him stitchie

how about wering black pants and a black SBOL hoodie (skiboards online) , casing a 5 foot jump and spraining his knee?

worse than snowblades are the 5'10" guys rockin the 130 cm skis, thinking they are "trick skis" not twin tips, just like old rossignol kiddy skis

i love seeing them, and them asking them how they made their custom short skis because no company would actually make something so hideous

No over here where we see them, snowbladers i see in montana and wyoming are straight up bladas.

i saw one kid with a black hoodie on and on the frint it said "i am..." and on the back it said "a snow blader" and he was totally the shit

At Northstar I saw an Asian guy who was wearing a full body suit from 686's gaper line, but he thought it was tottaly the shit and had no idea what a "gaper" was. It was hilariuos. i still respect snowbladers alot more than alot of other ppl on the mountain though.

yesterday my friend(a snowboarder) decided to take some snowblades up to the hill. he looked so funny and akward at first like all the fat 10 year old snowbladers that you always see but by the end of the day he was hitting a 30ft table and throwin 270s off a kink rail. he wants to get skis now so I guess it was worth the temporary snowblading gayness.

i love seeing the fleets of overweight middleaged rednecks w. high waisted 80s colored tapered pants tucked into their boots w. lil' matching ski jackets on skiblades, so awsome. almost as good as seeing them try to get on the lift and failing miserably

snowblader in jeans and a starter jacket and a like velcrow baseball cap...he hit the 40 ft table at my mountain and actually landed tho....

Saw the best snowblader ever, had a grey long sleeve shirt underneath a white American Eagle polo with a popped collar. And then he had a scarf that matched his polo and long sleever shirt on and finally had on a brimmed hat and his goggles sideways.

oh man saw on yesterday, orange, pink, bright yellow, baby blue one piece. snow blades, hockey helmet and safty glasses from a shop class. fucking hilarious, and i helled at him and he was like "yeah, i am cool".

Hmm I also remember one I saw a few days ago. He had really really short snowblades on, a blue northface vest a helmet and really long poles, like cross country ski poles haha. And he would go towards the jump and then go off the side of it and get like 2 feet of air. Priceless.

i saw two big ones dip down for a drink in the pond so i ran inside to get my red plaid outfit and binoculars, followed em for near an hour before i brought them home for dinner

i just saw a guy that was really tall wearing what looked like little kids skis, and last year i saw a guy with a paintball mask on

i saw these 2 kids in a like with blades, one had a helmet that said like BFE on it, bladez 4 eva under it. i laughed my ass off under it and asked him about, and he started enthusiastically telling me him and his friends are in a blade crew..unlike B-CREW, however, they r dead serious.

my friends brother use to blade 4 real, Like he was really into it and he wore tight pants and hes over 6 feet tall. He would pull fives and stuff omg sooo funny, but he has come to realize the glory of full planks

"Those of you who are in your fifth decade of life who can no longer enjoy a day on the slopes for what it is. Pure animal pleasure. Instead it’s more like a day on the set of Grumpier Old Men. And do you know what’s holding you back from feeling that joy that you once felt? It could simply be your equipment.

What you need is an afternoon on a pair of these babies!

Snowblades are what these are called. Whether you might have grown up skating on a catfish pond or a frozen river in Saskatchewan, you’ll get right on to them. If you are a skater it’s pretty much doing what comes naturally."

i always seem to notice snowbladers wearign real gay like jester hats and snow bids and they always have their jackets open and they go down the hill not carving...classic

hahaha....I used to be a blader. except I actually did decent stuff on them like cork 5s and misty flips, but it wasn't worth the criticism from skiers.....sooo glad I switched to twins. my brother unfortunately is still rockin the blades.
