Snowblade Sunday Creativness Session And Not Having

This is the second session on the snowblades. Since the J.R.B mini

shred is pretty small and it's not worth pulling the ski's out just to

hit a shit 1 meter long rail, what's not very fun in my option? Plus

it's also a good way to practice new thing until the snow starts

falling again.

I do have a bigger rail as well, but its shit for hitting as a step-on because it has corrugated piping for the sliding surface.

I really need to build a legit summer set-up with astro turf and a

burly as fuck drop-in. But i'm not the type of person who go’s out and

buy's wood and shit. When, i would rather steal wood and piping from

construction sites. Instead of wasting my money buying it from

hard-wear stores.

I got pretty creative with the snowblades and

the J.R.B mini shred rail, the mini tramp and a bucket. The first thing

i tried was setting up the mini tramp at the end of the rail for a

double combo hit. This was pretty fun, for doing switch up, 3's on to

the tramp, 1's and 3's off and loads of other creative variations. The

second double combo hit i put the bucket on the left hand side of the

rail. This was fun as well for doing one footed stalls on to the bucket

and switch up to bucket tap, 2's and 4's out. The third double combo

hit, i set up the bucket at the end of the rail. This didn’t work out

to well, as i tried to spin on to the bucket the first hit and pretty

much split-it in two.

These are the only two photo’s lil punk took, because the battery died out on him after 15 minutes.

pretty cool quick set up. beats having to take you skis off every time. i like the tramp for spins at the end

I missed this bit out

I've been looking about and on the internet for prices of astro

turf and wood for the drop-in. But it's going to be pretty expensive to

buy. The cheapest astro turf i could find is economy shit at £9.99

square meter and i really can't find any wood at the length i need

either. I spyed some wood lying at the edge of a construction sites

today, but it's not enough. I might steal it and maybe build another

rail with it, or i'll leave it were it is for now.

you dont need "astro turf" you need outdoor carpet and the "grass" styleyou can find it at any store that sells out door carpet like hardwear. home and garden, and of coarse carpet stores.
got mine for 4 usd per yard not to bad and you only need 4 yards
to lengthin the drop-in make a ladder and wrap the carpet around the rungs. I just used 3 pallets connected into one big one and stappled the carpet to the cross planks. (there esy to find free. just drive around back of any hard wear store and you sure to find a stack of them.)
this decreases surface contact with the skis and thus decreases the friction
you can make 4 yards go 40 feet! and no need for this shit on the landing just put some on a nice smoth flat trasition and the lip and your good to go!
on a side not the palets can also de torn apart and used to make more rails

Talking about pallets, i can get a shit load from my dads work what

could be used for a drop-in. Plus instead of using carpet or what ever, i could

use some heavy duty plastic sheeting, dish soap and water instead. It would be

a lot cheaper. Plus i can't really have it lying about in the garden all the

time any way, since my dad gets pissed and it really needs to be easily

set-up and moved.

yeah pallets are thin and not super heavy just prop the up on one end to drop in from and put them on there side and lean them against your shed when not in use!the plastic will work great for getting speed but as for the lip you still want carpet of some kind for control or else you might slip of and eat it when you try to pop!but if your only using carpet for the lip you wond need much at all!

I just remembered i’ve got this roll of plastic stuff what’s

sticky on one side, what could be stuck on each individual pallet. I don't no

how well it would work even with dish soap and water, because it is really

thin. I may as well try it. If it fails, it’s not a big deal and i’m sure i could

find an old bit of carpet from some were.

friction doesnt depend on surface area, take college physics. but that is a really good way to use alot less carpet.

haha il be taking that next year at utah state loli just assumed but im no expertnow that a think about it it makes sense.
less surface are but more pressure on the surface that is there plus there are set coeficients of friction between givens substraits and shit or something along those lines haha
