Snowblade Recall!

4FRNT, you guys are straight up noobs. FYI, Line no longer produces skiboards. The last time they did was in the 06/07 season. Of all people you guys should know how to use the SEARCHBAR. And also, Why bring it to our attention now? Those skiboards have been recalled since 06//07.
 
I have to admit that I am surprised by how many people on this thread failed to see the fact that this was a joke, which leads me to feel like I should clarify an important point here.

All of us in the ski industry are competitors, but almost without exception, we are better friends. We spend a lot of time together on and off the hill. There is never the kind of animosity between us that I saw just on this post. That is disappointing. I could never imagine having the kind of exchange that occurred here with anyone from Line, Armada, Salomon or any other ski company for that matter. The amount of disrespect that was shown in this thread towards one another is an utter embarrassment. Doug Bishop encouraged us to get more involved with the dialogue on NS and we were interested in doing so, but this was a sad display by a few - namely asian_allen and snowbladesforlifeandeatspoopsandwichesforlunch.

I try to lead by example and will not respond in kind to some of the outright hate that some people on this thread created. We try to always show respect for others and have fun. I certainly hope that some of you (and you know who you are) choose to follow that example. You may find that other people will like you more. Also, I won't hide behind an anonymous screenname - if you have an issue with something I said here, feel free to give me a call at 801-975-9500 to discuss.

 
My apologies to 4frnt for even making this thread. I thought I would share some humor with NS, but obviously it wasn't taken as such.

I stand by every word I said in this thread. I will not respect 4Frnt as a company until they:

A. Put out a quality product and give up and coming team riders what they deserve

or

B. Wipe away from history every relationship they have had with Steele Spence. This includes stripping all his equity in the company, erasing all his shots on video from past movies and deleting every picture of him stored anywhere, ever.

choice B probably has a better chance of happening first.
 
if anyone else got the message-it was just a misunderstanding and meant to be a joke although, to me, it was borderline serious hate. Got message from 4frnt today clearing it all up, plus they really shouldn't be judged on one joking obscure article on the net.

4frnt is legit, as is Line

OK, lets ends this, it doesnt have to end in a bare knuckle death match. it was a joke made in poor taste and is all worked out now. Freeride/Freestyle companies like Armada Line, 4Frnt, Surface etc are all on the same team to grow this sector of skiing. The skiboard thing is old news and we're proud of our roots, it took that change from the norm to create what we all love now and evolution of skiing has phazed the skiboard out of exisitence (however there is some resistance from, Saucerboy, the Japanese, and college kids on closing day) Let me leave you with this video, tell me this isnt progression?
 
What's up with this etc comapny, never heard of it.

And skiboards are sick it's just the way most people ride with them that isnt.

so here we have MR Joe Stumpf, lawyer no less, saying in a statement on his site, saying all this crap about Line and K2, and its all in good fun, so am I supposed to believe him that if Line or some other company wrote something about 4frnt , he wouldnt be pissed, bullshit. It is also not in the context you wrote this in but the context in which it is read and understood, sure we can theorize what they meant by this, but the is not reading comp, its real life, and companies get sued just over gay shit like this, also if you are getting emails from your customers about this then it is time to take it down,
it doesnt matter what intentions they had, it is a poorly written and understood claim,
