WOWawoowaaa so today we had about 7 or so inches of freshies. One of the better days since february for me. I am stoked. Also the jib line is sick so everyone should come slay it.

yea, me and willem went up, the freshies were sick!

john and all you guys from pc, if you were planning on doing the comp on saturday you should know that its cancelled now, but you should still come slay it with us anyway...

what they have set up is:

2 flat rails, 1 with a big drop for 450's and 630's out

1 flat box

1 small trap box and 1 large one

1 small up rail

1 down rail

1 flat down box

thats all they had, but they were all set up pretty nice..

this is the info about their pass prices:

Thanks to that Wednesday storm that dropped 14 inches of snow. Snowbird Ski & Summer Resort plans to remain open daily through May 13 and weekends thereafter.

The resort had a mid-mountain base Friday of 86 inches.

Through April 29, Snowbird will operate the Tram, the Peruvian Express chairlift and Tunnel, and the Chickadee, Wilbere, Little Cloud, Gadzoom and Mineral Basin Express chairlifts from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. From April 30 through May 6, the Tram, Wilbere and Gadzoom lifts will run from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. while Mineral Basin Express will run only in the morning and Little Cloud only in the afternoon.

From May 7-13, the Tram and Little Cloud will operate from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. After that, both will run only Fridays through Sundays.

Day passes cost $49 starting April 30. Snowbird also is offering spring passes for $249.

"Snowbird's late-season skiing and snowboarding is not for beginners," advised resort spokeswoman Laura Schaffer. "Only advanced terrain is available."

what if you have an alta pass?

normally they will sell you a day pass for 30 bucks if you flash it, so will the price decrease?

Yeah.... we built a really fun step up near Sunnyside lift. The in run is sorta near that really steep gnarley creek thing that is always closed... I just looked at a trail map, and I guess the run in was Greeley Hill....and you just boost up 20 feet or so onto the groomer. WAyyyyy fun.
