How would anyone have any idea how deep it is going to be in December. December does get epic dumps but no one has an idea when they will happen or how many of them.

Usually a 70-100 inch base, park usually isnt up and going til Christmas time although they will probably have a few small jib/tables up. You could get a pow day you could not, chances are there will b e good snow somewhere though
 
chances are you will have a good snow day, maybe a couple, but who knows. it might be sunny everyday your there and then the day your driving to the airport to leave it comes in big and dumps, thats just how shit is.

Ya a 70-100 inch base is total bullshit dude!! I have never seen that happen before! Youre a fucking moron...there have been plenty of decembers wheree we have had close to a 100 inch base. Of course I have only been skiing here for 15 or 20 years, what the fuck would i know?
 
If we have close to a 100 inch base this year then you owe me a blowjob. Last winter was pretty unusual when you look at the past 5 or 8 years...but go back to the early 90's or late 80's and it was not untypical at all. Just cause youre 13 and cant remember anything past 1999 dont talk shit, if you were to stupid to realize weather runs in patterns. We have been in a drought the previous 5-8 years and it looks like things are swinging back to the snowy side. So go fuckyourself you 13 year old park monkey.
 
steezin3s is definetly right in his argument that 100 inch base in december is not very likely. Sure it has happened, and last year it did happen as he mentioned but it is still not very likely. I have since one other winter in the past 15 years where there was as much snow as last year. Not to bum you out but it was pretty exceptional. And yes ICE your chart does say to expect 60-90 inches as a base in december, well last time I checked 90 inches was still short of 100 and 60 is much much lower. I pray for snow as often as possible but you can't expect shitloads of snow every year. Just a small comparison this time last year you could be skiing, not just hiking for your turns, brighton opened before halloween, I would say that last year was probably an exception, but maybe I am wrong, shit I bet tahoe gets like 20 ft. again in a two week period after christmas. YOU ARE A FUCKING IDIOT IF YOU THINK THE BIRD HAS A 100 INCH BASE EVERY DECEMBER BECAUSE IT DOES NOT I WOULD THE AVERAGE IS IN THE LOW 70s.
 
how is 60-90 inches in december become 100 inches???? I'm not great at math but last time I checked 100 was still more than 90.

Not to bust your bubble bitch, but steezin3s has lived in utah close to all of his life from the late 80s on, as have I. The last time I remember snow totals like that was in 92 or 93. And not since then has it snowed like that in utah till last year, trust I have talked to a lot of old timers about it.

^^^well comparsions of the weather do come into play when you say that we will have 100 inches in december like last year, when last year there was already like a 50 inch base in late october, which did contribute to the 100+ base in december.
 
and just cause there was a 50 inch base last year doesnt mean that we wont get 100 feet of snow in november. There is no correlation douche bag.
 
you know you're right, we may get a shitload of snow in november, but the averages suggest otherwise as do what I have seen over the last 15 or so years that I have lived here. But shit I sure that we get like 100 ft. of snow every fucking month of winter this year, but we probably won't, I keep praying for snow though and maybe Ullr will answer my calls.

so i guess sence u two are done fighting about snow... all i wanted was a dec answer, base them off past seasons... will cliff drops be possible will the park be open? if not should i expect any jib rails or anything? should i expect a dec size snow storm while i am there DEC. 15th-20th
 
^again how the fuck would anyone know if its going to storm the 5 days you are there. Storms are totally random so who the fuck would know the answer to that.

i agree, i was just hopeing someone who has skied there years past around dec. could take a wild guess on how it will be this year, there is no need for lcc210 to be a complete asshole about it
 
Ive answered you like 15 times what more do you want dude?? There is a chance it will be a pow day and a chance it wont, probably the park will suck then only small rails and jumps if you want a park then go to park city. There will be cliffs all over to drop just make sure the landing is soft....base depth will probably be close to 70 inches give or take 20. Anything else?

well asshole, Lcc was saying 70-100 and it does fall in that range. Those are averages meaning a few bad years would really skew it. Regardless who fucking cares, you guys are serious assholes that need something better to argue about
