gad 2 def has some of the best skiing that doesnt require and hiking. There terrain park is fun to play in too. I also like most trails from the top of the tram
well if your looking to hit some serious powder, alta. but if your skiing WITH your family i would say snowbird. its a win win situation but i would definitely go to both mountains if you have time. I'm going in december as well so maybe ill see ya there
in my expert opinion alta has snowbird beat when it comes to pounders. alta is home to the ancient geezer wedging his way down the hill in his bogner 1 piece w/ his brand new pocket rockets on.

there are a lot of fun backcountry areas i like to go into, don't really know the names of them, most of them i get to from little cloud or gad 2, well actually all of them. the park is fun, well maintained, fun boxes and rails but nothin way outstanding and different. gets really crowded too
I'll nosepress your funbox if you lipslide my handrail
theres a nice cat track gap at the very beginning of chips, and a hefty ass one somewhere in mineral. da bird gots mass natural gaps when the pow falls also but i aint sayin where dems beee.

Gad 2 was my favorite. the first day i got there, the tram was all fogged in. it sucked. but then also at the end of the day, i followed the ridge out kinda under the tram and had some really sick/ steep chutes and stuff. that was my favorite part. its confusing to get to, but once your on that ridge its awsome! and you can drop in wherever (the farther out you go the steeper/ better chutes it gets.)
