Snowbird question

Alright so im going out to Salt Lake City over christmas with some friends. Two other skiiers and a snowboarder. My question is should we ditch him and go to Alta or is snowbird just as good.

 
alta is only good if theres pow, i think. snowbird actually has an ok park, just shitty hits and alta has like 2 5 foot rails

 
You'll have plenty of fun at the bird, they get nearly as much snow, have awesome terrain, semi-decent park, and best of all tram laps!

Personally I would go to alta for at least one day cause it is really sick and a total different more laid back vibe from snowbird. Its probably my favorite place to ski

just get the alta-snowbird lift ticket, you can do both in the same day.... but there is so much to ski in one day! you need a whole day for each mountain... Alta is awesome!

i wouldnt get the altabird pass.u dont want to get overwhelmed with all the variety.one is plenty for one day. it really depends what kind of snow the resorts get and the crowds.the bird would get tracked out quicker but u could get more vert.alta has a more laid back vibe and gets more snow (not much more).snowbird has a much nicer park and is bigger. its hard until you know what the day will be like and what the crowds will be like

yeah man... go to snowbird unless utah gets dumped on before. alta is fun no matter how you look at it, but the park at snowbird is fun when there isn't pow to go lookin for and alta's park... hahah but thats not what they're meant for.

word. alta is only sick if you have fresh. Id say go ot the bird becasue they have EVERYTHING. We skied tree and cliff runs in the morning, big open runs on the back after lunch then ripped the pretty nice park in the afternoon. great all around resort

Ski both of them, they are both worth it. I think the goods at alta are a little more well hidden than the bird. You kinda gotta know where to go on a pow day.

i didnt know where to go.i know that anythinfg off of supreme is good and i skied off the high traverse and there were goods in there. also i think wildcat gets overlooked a lot of times and there is some sweet tree skiing in there

take it from me a 5year bird season pass holder stay there alta is sick and just as good but friends are we cooler thatn any ski resort
