dude, it's because you are talking about the park at Snowbird. Of the entire, massive mountain that is Snowbird, you are criticizing the lowest elevation, wettest area, with the slowest lift. There was a reason the park was put there...it's not a big priority at the bird. They know PC has that shit covered, and that people aren't going to the bird to ride the park. Why they won't change the location? My guess would be that the parents who take their kiddies on their 2 weeks of skiing per winter to the bird and stay at the penthouses in the Cliff would rather leave those areas open as intermediate groomers. And apparently those $$$'s speak louder than jibbas. Now don't get me wrong, I'm all for a well designed and maintained park...but if it's at the cost of a 3 hours delay in opening Baldy/MB/Tigertail/etc because the funds went from snow safety to sculpting jumps, then I'd say the have their priorities in order.
