Snowbird Jobs

i am taking a year off this year and am planning on moving to slc for the winter to work at snowbird. what would be the cooler places to work there?

I looked into working at a ski resort while I live in SLC, and it just wasn't worth it. Even though you get a free pass, it doesn't make up for the shitty minimum wage you get paid. I ended up getting a job as a Bellman at the Radisson. Really laid back and could work as many days as I wanted, so there was plenty of time for skiing. Plus I was making real good money.

better off working at alta, cause then you can live on the mountain instead of down in the valley...which is worth it for a season.also, considering ur getting a pass, room and board, and food paid for (package deal baby), pay ends up bein around 8-9/hr which is well worth it. if ur thinkin about this gig, i wouldnt worry about the money to begin with.

well, i'm gonna be living in slc b/c my bro works at backcountry.com in pc, and i am not too concerned about the money part of this, i am going more for the experience.

that being said, when i went to utah this winter i liked snowbird better than alta, and way better than pc, so what is a cool shop to work in at snowbird?
