Snowbird/Alta

during spring break alta is usually around closing time cuz they close early, but if uve nvr been there go, the best place to build bc kickers its like a playground

The best place to build kickers is actually Grizzly Gulch which is next to Alta but does require some hiking, how much is up to you. If you do come to Utah and need someone to show you around then contact me and I'd be more then happy to show you.

To answer your question, yes alta and snowbird are both very busy around spring break.

Other than Germ, and Sugarloaf Alta is never very busy. They only sell limited amounts of lift tickets each day so its normally good.

I cant say for sure cuz I havent been there but go anyway, I heard its insane there (no boarders either if you like that). Im goin with my school, I mean if its less crowded than Vail (which it has to be) than its all good. March is prime season, as you probably know, and I heard Alta rules, so go for it. For me, Alta/Snowbird are on my highly anticipated to ski list, up there with mammoth, chamonaix and other crazy Euro mtns, so Im there.

I'm doing a 2.5 week long tour de utah this winter and snowbird/alta are on the top of my list. Going to try to also hit Snowbasin, Canyons, Brighton, Solitude, Deer Valley. Any other places worth visiting? I figure that is enough to keep me busy while I'm there.

Don't stray far from Little Cottonwood Canyon if you're going to be in Utah. You have pretty much no reason to ski more than 2 or 3 resorts. I've heard Deer Valley blows and isn't worth your time, especially after being spoiled at Alta. Snowbasin is worth a trip though. We went there for one day parting from LCC last year and had about a foot and half of fresh all day. It dumped the entire time we were there and it was the most fun I had ever had on skis. That was, until the next day when we went to Alta and it dumped a foot in the morning and cleared to bluebird sunny skies after lunch.
