Snowbird/Alta Daily Driver NEEDED

Currently have 186 Salomon Twenty Twelve for early season, late spring, park shredding and Line Pollards for the deep days.

Need a daily driver for the Bird that will power through chunder/crud in mineral and keep me from getting bucked if I'm straightlining a cirque line.

Even though I am approaching 30 I still enjoy the occasional butter and want something more directional but something that will let me throw a 180 off a cat track or natural hit. Will sacrifice all mtn jibbyness for directional charging ability though.

Currently considering Black Crows Astris, Line Sick Day 104, K2 Marskman, J Skis The Metal, Dynastar Cham 107

Currently rock the dad bod: 5'10 200ish lbs, so can't be on a noodle.

What do y'all think is the ski? Anything I didn't list that I need to consider?

On3p kartel 108

Moment death wish

Sego big horn 106

4frnt devastator

Moment Bibby Pro. Your description of what you want is exactly the Bibby Pro. Mounted on the line it was my 1 ski quiver for most of last year in Colorado and other than being a bit more work in the bumps it crushed it in everything. Very stable, destroys chop, but still jibbyish.

You've basically described the Moment Bibby Pro exactly, that's your ski. Want something slightly narrower, then go Moment Deathwish.

I love the bibbys but im going to have to say that they are a tad big for a daily driver, even at Birdy and Alta. Plus with the pollards, the bibby would seem kinda useless. Everything else mentioned above is what id recommend though. Personally, I am gunning for a pair of Kartel 108s myself but have really wanted to test out the Sego BigHorn 106s. I think both would do you well on a daily driver scene.

Agree. Have ridden my buddies and loved them. They are to big for a true daily driver...devestator or kartel 108 would be a true daily driver.

Yeah, the devs would be a cool option too. I'm excited to test out a pair of Moment Meridians this weekend so we'll see how they hold up. Seems like they could be a really cool daily driver if your into reverse camber skis.

Love my marksmans as all mtn Chargers. Surprising stable considering the rocker on them.

Demo'ed them on a spring day at the Bird. Have a ton of pop. Need to make sure they aren't too soft tho

find a pair of scott punisher 110's best crud busting ski I have ever been on, on par with the Coreupt Slasher (checkout out blistergearreview.com on both skis). Super damp, super stable, stomps cliffs with ease, rips groomers, shreds the cirque and nimble enough in trees. The new punisher 105 is probably a good option as well but I have not skied it. I am 5'11-6ft 165 aggressive/expert and skied the 189 it was perfect in all conditions except suuuuper tight trees, but does great in well spaced trees. If I was still skiing the bird I would still be in the 189, but im now skiing solitude/ pc canyons and the trees are generally a bit tighter there so I would probably get the 183.
