Snow?

I was looking at the percent open at many ski areas in colorado and it seems that there has been hardly any snow. Also, much of the terrain is not open. Im scheduled to be out there over presidents day weekend. What are your predictions for conditions then? Do you normall not have everything open by late january?

This winter has been a little weird... snowfall in the mountains has been really crappy so far. On the plains, on the other hand, we have been getting a little more snow than usual. It is an El Nino year this year, which makes the weather patterns a little bit weird. It's hit or miss really as to whether there will be better snow at the end of January than there is now. In most other years the mountains would have a lot more snow this time of year and almost all of the terrain would normally be open by late January.
