It's moving slower than originally thought, but a large weather system will bring rain and snow to Minnesota over the next three days, WCCO-TV meteorologist Mike Fairbourne said.

By Thursday Minnesota will be hit by part of the major snowstorm that swept through Colorado. Southwestern Minnesota will get the brunt of that storm front, and the Twin Cities will be getting rain, with the possibility of freezing rain.

"Be prepared for a little longer commute (Thursday) morning," said Fairbourne.

A rain/snow mix is expected to move into the Twin Cities late Thursday and early Friday.

The Twin Cities area could see 1 to 3 inches of snow from this system by Friday morning. Areas in Southwestern Minnesota could get 4 to 6 inches by Friday.

Aaron its gay ur gunna be gone because those C-Rails would be sick. We probably wont have any snow by the time u get home. If anyone wants to do some C-Rails when this storm is over. Holler at me ASAP!
 
It proly will bu the rents wont let me leave the house for a while, I dont think I'll be going. It was icey as shit on monday and I dont know when it would have gotten a lot better. The rail line is still money though.

and theres still freezing rain comming down (and i live 3 minutes away, i can pretty much see the top of the hills)

last night was fun though, after the rain stopped it was soft you could to anything and not get hurt.
 
theres slush underneath it, but there are HUGE FAT ASS FLAKES falling right now. its wetter than shit, but its SNOW!!! makes me sooo happy.

WE will be doing the red rail in a park off of excelsior and shady oak rd. Drew and Bill both know the rail, (we went there last year) so if anyone wants directions, just post on here and we'll figure somethin out. It's a double kink, maybe 25 feet. Real easy starting rail, good setup.
 
C-Rail tomorrow in Anoka? Anyone for the drive up hurr? It's a tow in so we need a wakeboard/waterski rope for this one. Maybe a truck but if Cal wants to do it he gots the Freshtip truck. Its pretty tight. its in a deserted park and there is a minimal bust factor. and its on the flat ground.

Relax Aaron. If I do end up doing it, it's not like I wont wanna do it again. Plus that's not fair that your going to Montana(without me) to have a freakin' blast and you don't want me to have fun on a sick ass urban rail(without you).
