What is the first thing you do when you wake up in winter and see the first snowfall outside?

i put on my ski pants as soon as im out of bed

when its snowing when i waking up...i getting my outwear on and getting to hit some pow (some nice lines outside my house)

but then... FUCK its school :(

i never want to pull up the blinds and see how much snow their is, its just too disappointing if their isnt. i usually lay in bed and listen until i hear my parents wake me up or leave me home (meaning snow day).

best feeling is when you dont think there will be a snowday, so you do all your homework and in the morning when you wake up and you see its late, your first thought is shit im late for school, then when you go down stairs and noone is up, you look out side and god came everywhere!

yea same here. it seems like whenever i get excited over a snow day or something it ends up barely even snowing. the best thing to do it play it cool and wait for my mom to tell me i have a snow day

walk out the door (the only window in my room is a sliding glass door) and look around to see how much there is, no matter how cold it is.

I've gone out before at like 6am in shorts and a tee shirt to see how much there is, which isn't much in NJ. Usually I can tell if it snowed because more light is reflected through my blinds on my windows, it looks really bright out for 6 in the morning.

im just gonna start asking poeple if they want there snow shoveled and they end up paying me and ill just load all the snow in my buddys truck
thats a great way to make money

go for a walk through the forest... probably to the top of a hill near town. if enough snow has fallen by night time I'll go skiing on the streets.

no such thing as snowdays in Norway.. fuck.. it was so chill when I lived in england, if like an inch of snow was on the ground = snow day.

i usually say... snow? really? are you kidding? then im in shock for three days straight and by the time the snow melts i go outside and cry
