The Summit at Snoqualmie is projected to open Dec. 8.

Alpental is projected to open Dec. 15.

Stevens Pass has no projected opening date but had a base depth of 16 inches on Tuesday, Nov. 27.

Mount Baker will open on Thursday, Nov. 29 in full normal midweek operation out of the White Salmon Base Area. Chairs 3, 4, 5, 6 ,7 & 8 will be operating from 9:00am to 3:30 pm. See story.

Crystal Mountain is projected to open Dec. 2.

Mission Ridge will re-open for the weekend on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9am-4pm.

Mission Ridge is also offering a $1000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individuals who stole the deposit safe from Mission Ridge Ski Area on November 25, 2007. Mt. Spokane is projected to open Dec. 1.

White Pass has no projected opening. The resort had a base depth of 11 inches on Tuesday, Nov. 27.

49 Degrees North had a base depth of 6 inches on Tuesday, Nov. 27. The resort will expand operating hours 7 days a week mid-December through Mid-February.

a winter storm warning is in effect tonight thru monday. with up to 14 inches predicted on saturday night. temps are suppose to rise monday thru wed, and the forecast is predicting lowering freezing levels and lots of precip thursday/friday. lets hope those predictions pan out.

Drove up to Snoqualmie this afternoon with my girlfriend to check out the snow, hit the storm headon on the way back into North Bend. By the time we hit Preston, snow was sticking to the ground and it was puking! Snow in Issaquah, sticking and accumulating quite nicely.

Yeah, puking on the Ave this morning, I could seriously see a wall of snow blow up the street. We have around 1/2", streets are slush.

But funny story today. I go to Sturtevans with my friend who finally wants to get a good groomer ski and boots that dont kill her this year. She has skis, we just need boots. I go to get my feet checked out too (I WANT those new FT Konflicts, fuck the Il Moro).

She got boots, a helmet, a heating system for her boots (she has bad circulation), gloves and goggles for $1212.90. Good fucking lord. I mean, I spend a lot on skiing...
